I had a chance to ask the writer/director of Smokin Aces (Joe Carnahan) about the rumour of The Prodigy contributing a tune for the movie and the answer was:

"Yes. Prodigy contributed a *beep* fantastic track to the movie and yes, Ace Of Spades, one
of my all-time faves and part of a compilation CD I gave the actors before we started shooting,
will be included in the final movie. "

Edit - He's refering to Motorhead's Ace of Spades wich you can hear throughout the trailer.

Liam stated on the recent Nekosite interview that he would release an instrumental of Warning for an unnamed motion picture. Folks were speculating that Smokin Aces was the right candidate for Warning, and they were right! It's officially confirmed straight from the horse's (er..directors) mouth!

here's the trailer for the movie:

I hope this movie isn't such a crap, as Ultraviolet or Wax House.
Genious music deserves genious cinema!

So, you have to buy a complete Compact-Disc just for 1 prodigy-tune, but I hope the rest of that disc is as good as the "Spawn"-Soundtrack or the "Back 2 Mine" Compilation. Great news, thanx!

Big Thumbs Up

Liam: "Yea, we've done a massive remix of warning for a film. Not the vocal version, the vocal version may or may not be on the album. We haven't really made decisions, all we do now is focus on writing, getting as many tunes as we can. "

So this is not a real instrumental version of the original one, it´s a remixed instrumental version ??? :scratchhead:

Hey Liam, if you decide not to put the full vocal version on the next album,
please, put this one [ or minimum the real instrumental version ] on one of the next singles as a b-side ... I think a lot of fans agree with me in that point. They´re Drool for "Warning - Na na nananana" :headbang:

BTW, sometimes you get a soundtrack 2 months earlier, so it could be released in january....

you don't HAVE to buy the soundtrack, i won't be, i'll be downloading the warning remix.

so if soundtracks get released upto 2 months before films, and there's a generous leak, 2-3 months before the actual release isn't that uncommon, we should be getting this remix of warning any minute now.

i'll just sit here until someone tells me where i can get it.

just on that, it's nice to see the homepage being frequently updated again with the new forum.

for a long time the home page wasn't being updated, which was what brought me to the forums to keep up with the news after, i don't know, about a year or so of having a forum account and not using it.

for instance, if i hadn't of been visitng the forums and had been relying on the homepage like i used to, i would have completly missed the prodigy live on radio1, which was quite a big thing.
