Captain A. Dallas

As captain of the interstellar tow-ship, the Nostromo, Dallas has the fate of the crew resting in his hands. He appeared lazy, while being the best organized of all. The trip began as normal, with one exception. Two days before leaving Thedus, the science officer of five trips, was replaced with Ash. Then into the freezer of the cryo-tube they went. Their mission: to tow 20,000,000 tons of mineral ore back to Earth. Although, when awakened by Mother (the Nostromo's central computer) they were far from Earth, only half-way there. Immediately after awakening from the cryo-sleep, Dallas notices the yellow light, signaling that Mother want to talk to him, and him only. Dallas walks through a hallway. He types an access code, and gets some card which he puts in a slide. He walks on and stands in a small walkthrough where some lights flicker on.
A door opens and he steps in. Inside there is a room filled with small white lights on the walls and ceiling. He sits down and turns the chair to face a computer screen. He types something and the screen turns alive. "Morning Mother"..typing 'Tell me the story...' He finds out the reason for their unfortunate stop and breaks it to the crew during breakfast.
Not taken lightly to be stopped during the long trip, Parker quickly objects to this mission, unless of course they get a bonus. Abiding by their contract, Dallas begins the preparation down to the unknown planet in the distance. He takes his position as captain, and the Nostromo is separated from its tow to be brought down to the planet. As the ship plummets downward, Dallas is in control of everything, relaxed, yet quick and precise in his commands. The Nostromo lands. One of the paws sets down on the ground and forms to the rocks lying there. Some of the ground gives way, there is a screech and explosions. The ship is stuck on LV-426 for repairs, and Dallas rounds up volunteers to go in search of the unknown ship.
Kane, Lambert, and Dallas suit up and head out into the eerie landscape. The three of them travel across the rough terrain to reach the derelict ship. It has got a huge 'U' ship, and the two extensions are high above the ground. They climb up and go in. They enter a hallway which does not seem to be made, but grown. There are rib-like walls and odd looking textures. Once inside, they soon reach an open room. There is a huge circle of about fifteen meters radius, with in the middle some kind of creature. "Alien lifeform. Looks like it's been dead a long time. Fossilized... Looks like it's grown out of the chair... Bones are bend outward... Like it exploded from the inside..."
They continue into the depths of the ship, lowering Kane down into a hole. Dallas doesn't like being there just as much as the rest, but retains his leadership in following the company orders. Once Kane is pulled out of the hole with an organism attached to his face, this changes... damn beacon, damn alien ship. During the trip back, this whole ordeal causes the pit in the middle of his stomach to grow. It was his crew, his responsibility...he'll fix it up and get Kane into the infirmary. Once reaching the safety of the Nostromo, Ripley voices a bit more than the usual concern about Kane.

Ash obeys his orders, the orders of the captain, when Ripley wouldn't budge. Dallas soon gets Ash's assessment of Kane's new attachment. He's just gotta fix him up now, and pull the damn thing off, get off this planet, and head home.

The attempt is made. Acid splashed out of the creature when it is cut. Spraying on the floor and eating quickly through it. "That crap's gonna eat through the hull!" Frustrated and annoyed, Dallas retreats from the rest of the crew to think things over. He sits in the shuttle waiting...distraut over what has happened...his responsibility. Later, Ash informs him to come quickly to see Kane. The creature has obviously detached itself from Kane and is then found dead. Determined to end the mess, he must get rid of the dead creature immediately...Ash objects, wanting to keep the specimen. Sickened by the whole of events, he gives responsible over to Ash... not his burden, let Ash take care of it...damn company got them into the whole mess anywise...
Once Kane regains consciousness, a wave of relief floods Dallas. Things are beginning to look better, time to get on with things and get home. "One more meal before bedtime, I'm buying!" The tension of the crew has broken, and the meal become a pleasant one, full of good humor. ...until suddenly Kane breaks into convulses, Parker grabs him, trying to control...blood spurts out of his chest, the head of a tiny creature lunges forward comes spurting out of Kane's chest trailing a thick body. Splatters fluids and blood in its wake. Shit. What the hell is going on now!? The crew is once again unstable, and Dallas must take lead in this catastrophe.

Brett is killed. This thing is slowly getting out of control. Dallas must destroy the creature. He goes to seek the help from Mother. He asks her how they can kill the alien. Mother says she can't compute. Dallas asks her if they can survive. Mother says she can't compute. He takes a deep breath and hopes for the best, something isn't right here...this shouldn't be happening. Parker rigs up some incinerator units, and decides to use the tunnels to kill the thing. By tracking the creature, and sealing of by tunnel, they should be able to trap in and flush it out.

Upon Parker search of the area later, Dallas incinerator unit is found, but no trace of Dallas.
