Funniest thing i've read all day.

Well after work I came home and spent my afternoon trimming our trees bc the city is a douche and sent letters saying the school bus keeps running into the branches. Well the school bus is like 10 fucking feet tall of course is going to hit tree branches. It was quite funny to see myself and 4 other neighbors all outside trimming the trees. Damn buses and their kids.

If I were you, I wouldn't think twice about it. GO FOR IT!! :)

All you have to do is be yourself. Don't forget, to them, you'll just be another client going for a job interview. Model agencies see just about every type of person every single day, from people who are so full of themselves that they make themselves unpopular straight away, to people like yourself who are quite nervous about the whole thing.

What type of modelling is it? Fashion, catwalk, photographic or glamour? One thing I would definately do is be sure enough of yourself to say what you will and won't do. What are YOU comfortable doing? Would you be happy to take your clothes off in front of a room of people? Or would that be a big no-no? Tell them upfront and GET IT IN WRITING whatever you decide. If you decide to sign a contract take plenty of time to read the small print, you're legally obliged to do whatever they want you to do, and for something like this there's no excuse not to. If necessary get a second opinion from someone you trust. Let me say it again; it's legally binding and if you back out they can sue you for loss of earnings or worse.

Most importantly, don't be afraid to say NO and WALK AWAY. It's your life, not theirs, and you'll be the one that has to cope with any consequences if it all goes wrong. If they called once, they'll call again.

Incidentally, what do your parents say? Are they behind you all the way, or are they not keen on the idea? If you can, get one of them to go with you, not just for moral support, but to let them see the people you'll potentially be working for. You won't feel as pressured to do anything or sign anything you don't want to that way. And they might think of questions to ask that you haven't.

Please don't let me scare you off the idea of this though. Opportunities like this don't turn up every day, and this is probably one of the best things you'll ever get the chance to do. If you don't go you'll always be thinking, 'What if?'.

Finally, how's this for the big incentive; this time next year you could be on a beach in Hawaii modelling the latest swimwear for a big fashion house, earning more money in a month than someone in an office 20 years your senior will earn in a year.

Gotta be worth a go surely? :-D

thank you jetsonik :) actually i cnt be myself, my state of mind is messed up because of all the stress im havin lately..

that agency works in fashion including runway and commercial, i feel uncomfortable in swimsuit, but i will have to wear it, its a nightmare :? i know that modeling stuff is not for me, people in modeling industry would eat me alive, but something inside me is telling me to try, im too old for runway im 22 so if i will not try now so after a couple of years it will be too late, so i have to try, i think..

i dont have both parents i have only mom, and she tells me just go and try, if they will refuse me thats ok, maybe another agency will take me, thats what she says.. last year some agencies from uk and portugal contacted me, i think i shouldnt take it serious so when i will fail it will not hurt so much na mean
and thanks for your support and advices, now i feel much better :)

yeah totally erika, don't knock it down till u try it, but as jetsonik said, don't do it if u really don't wanna but at the same time i'd think well woah a modeling agency wants me, i must look damn good u know, if you go for the modeling thing, let it feel like a good thing aswell, don't just think of it as a job, you see all the tv shows when girls try there best to be models, and look you got the door already opened, but if you don't get don't be disapointed, theres no need to, theres millions of opertunities out there waiting for u.

i tell u if somone wanted me to be a model i'd be fairly happy with myself  try turn it into a good thing first erika :) and we wish u the best if you go for it :-D

Now for what annoyed me. I stopped at this small mexican restaurant/bakery I found near my house and ordered some food. I didn't know jalepenos came on the food so my mouth was burning for a good hour today. Not fun.

Yes, it soothes to a certain extent. But you have to keep the paper completely dry, so keep it in a plastic bag. You don't want your finger to go through it now, do you..

Try it with wet wipes after a curry, you'll never go back to room temperature again.. 8-)
