more what cheered me up yesterday than today, well no actually technically it was this morning..... Anyway!!
Was out last night at our local shithole, we only go there because it serves booze up till 2AM. You're guaranteed to get started on by some dipshit out his face on sweeties, but fuck it! It's good banter.
ANYWAY to the point haha..... No clubs or anywhere for that matter around here play any prodigy at all bar this one. Sure it's a shithole but last night the DJ (who is actually surprisingly good) played 4 prodigy tunes..... wait for it...... In a row! It was like some sort of prodigy themed night or some shit haha! No good came on, which bleed into SMBU then Omen and finally WD. (I tried to push my luck afterwards, asking him to play TMTTH but he just shook his head) Made my night and my mates (who concidently turned 22 that night). I guess a club needs a rough and tumble demenour before it can pump out some prodigy? Why are DJ's so scared shitless to play it? I'm on a rant now...... This might run into the "what pissed me off today thread" haha.

It's TRUE!!
When I used to go to clubs in Norwich I always used to request something Prodigy, usually stuff most people around 30 at least knew like No Good or Out Of Space. The DJ only ever once played something, and that was the Pendulum remix of Voodoo People.
They're scared I tell ya, SCARED!

yea man it's like the club owners obviously tell them they can't play a certain type of music etc. But what the fuck? They obviously think everyone is going to start a fucking riot or some shit, it's just some good dance music for fuck sake.

Sped my way out of a speeding ticket.
I was going 75 on a 60mph tollroad when I drove past a highway patrol truck on the side of the highway. Immediately thought "fuuuuuuuck I'm gonna get a ticket" so I sped up just a bit to get around a curve in the road. Before I lost the truck around the corner I saw the truck start off presumably after me since I was on the only car back for a few miles. I got in front of a 18 wheeler and next to a car that looked similar to mine and just waited. The car next to me exited and the highway patrol truck followed it off the highway. Got home w/ no ticket. *phew*

I'm going to go see the 2CV 24 hour race at Snetterton on the weekend of 8th August.
Yes, that is 2CV as in:
It's going to be bonkers.

Good god my son. That sounds aweful! :D
Unless all the drivers get pissed? And it turns into a destruction derby?

Nah, it's awesome. This is from last couple of years:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuloL_hfOkk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4ujbiKth14
It's more like a very long touring car race than F1 and there's a ton of overtaking (well, bargeing). But the best thing is when someone messes up big time (and they will), because of the length of the race, a car can be out for 30 minutes after a crash and still be able to finish first.
And it's very cheap to go and see. Just £15 'on the door'. Compare that to £100+ for a similar event with 'proper' cars.
Just hope it's dry on the day.

My uncle did it for me, he like owns 10 or 12 businesses and one of them is an IT place and it needed a LOT of work doing to it. To be fair though, he lives the very south of England and I don't see him often so I couldnt collect it or he couldnt drop it off, and he didn't charge me for any of the parts or repair work. I just got used to not having it after a while. Gotta build up all my music collection again and rip a masssss of cds. Gah. And I need programs again, After Effects, Photoshop, some sorta video converter, hmmmmm, can't think what else now, probably a lot more.
