Poland, country of absurd:
I'm carpenter and a roofer, i do a wooden structure, then cover it with roof tiles etc.
My month salary is about = 450-500 euro
Pizza = 5 euro
Gasoline = 1.30 euro
Rent for a flat 56m2 = 250 euro
Food = about 300 euro for a 4 people

Prices are almost the same as in Germany, but we have 4 times lower salary, for exampe new game for ps3 cost 240 zl = 60 euro
So price is the same, but, for 60 euros i need to work hard for 2-3 days (30 hours of work) on a construction yard, for a german, or british 60 euros is 5-6 hours of work.

So we are working a lot, but we dont have enough money to be happy enought. Average salary in Poland is about 825 euros, minimum is 400 euros, i know a lot of people, and 95 % of them ear minimum, not even close to average. Conclusion? 98% of my close friends have gone to UK, and they dont want to come back...

I just moved up from Poland to Canada, rent here is 650 dollars, so its expensive comparing to the euro. but for the very the same job I had in my country my salary raised 10 times. For the first time in my life I can save some money, and I can afford to buy a lot of things I couldn't buy before. I work less hard for the more money. I left my family and close friends just to get e better proper life far away from country and a place where I born in. Even so I think money is not the most important thing, but im happy for the first time in my life...how fucked up that sounds huh?
