Qobuz is a lossless digital music site based in France that only serves certain countries across the globe. They're regarded as one of the best sites for lossless music and their prices are pretty damn good. Many of The Prodigy singles are only £0.95 to buy. Lots of sites like to upcharge you drastically if you want to choose from an MP3 to WAV or FLAC.
What's good about Qobuz is you have unlimited download of your purchase in all formats.
So say you purchase a 24 bit FLAC file, you pay just the one price and you have the choice to download that file in...
Studio Master 24 bit - AIFF, WAV, WMA, ALAC, FLAC
CD Lossless 16 bit - AIFF, WAV, WMA, ALAC, FLAC
Standard Lossy 320 - MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG
Lossy 128 - MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG
They only sell 16 or 24 bit audio (24 bit is slightly more money). So if you choose 16 bit, you can choose all of those 16 bit formats and anything below. If you buy 24 bit, you can grab all the 24 and 16 bit formats or anything below. And you're not unlimited to what you download. Such as, I bought The Day Is My Enemy track is 24 bit and was able to grab it in FLAC, WAV, and 320 MP3. I could download any format as much as I wanted.
It really is one of the best sites to legally purchase music, plus it has a lossless streaming service. It's just that certain releases can only be purchased by specific countries. I'm trying to purchase all of The Prodigy releases from them, but I was hoping if folks could help me out in getting a release that I'm not allowed to purchase from my country and I could help them in return in getting something they can't purchase from their territory.
I'm definitely going to be buying The Day Is My Enemy album in 24 bit! Too bad Nasty Remixes is only at 16 bit at the moment, so I grabbed FLAC and WAV of it.
