How about a change of scenery instead guys? You won't succeed in having us adhere to your opinions, so don't come here to try and school us and then cry to the mods that we just slammed you. i want liam to do real album by name We Love Flowers....fu*ke this London shit... thats life, stop dreaming about your first girlfriend. move on to the next one. all the best, was nice having you gcx and UN's post hit the nail on the head and touched upon a thought that occurred to me. Honestly, I listen to No Tourists and cannot understand for the life of me how someone who loved Experience or loved Jilted or loved FOTL would not enjoy this album. This album is pure Prodigy. Liam and co. are doing what they always have done. Liam can still deliver a powerful Prodigy album. It really makes me believe that these folk simply grew out of what The Prodigy are about. They latch on to the older albums out of nostalgia and their connection to their past and life at the time. The Prodigy haven't changed, you changed. People grow older and their tastes change. What they want from music changes. They don't have the same reaction to newer music even when that music evokes the music of the past that they love. It was more about who you were at that time and place. That moment for you will never be recreated in your mind. To me, when No Tourists is playing, I'm getting those same feels I had when I was playing Experience or Jilted or FOTL in my childhood bedroom. I may be much older, but The Prodigy are still nailing all of the elements here that made me fall in love with them all of those years ago.

No Tourists is easily a top 3 Prodigy album for me after Jilted and Fat!
It has amazing diversity, slow tempo, fast tempo, big beats, raw synths, dirty guitars instant classics, dance tunes etc. Just the right amount of Keith/Maxim while the guest artists are perfect.
AONO was ok, I occasionally listen to 2-3 tracks. IMD is a fine album all around, but lacks any outstanding tracks. TDIME was definitely an improvement, strong album but again, no hard hitting tracks that can be put in the same category as the greatest hits. No Tourists on the other hand is extremely strong all around (only 1-2 weaker tracks), and it has a few instant classics!
1. Need Some1 - 5/10. I was never able to get into this one. It's too slow and doesn't compensate for that with heaviness. Also, nothing happens and it feels as if it drags forever, yet it's not even 3 min. When NS1 first came out I thought we'll be getting an TDIME 2.0 or something. Thankfully I couldn't have been more wrong.
2. Light Up The Sky - 10/10. I knew this would be a massive tune based on the 30 sec clip we got. The full version delivered! Badass synths over heavy beats is signature Prodigy. Also dig the Voodoo and Breathe samples/throw-backs. I really like the structure btw, not sure why people have an issue with it. The other version that's floating around just doesn't deliver the same punch. The original is short, sweet and to the point.
3. We Live Forever - 11/10. Instant classic, up there with the all time greatest! Just WOW! First time I head it I just couldn't believe it! Liam had the balls to go back to the old sounds - and he absolutely smashed it!
4. No Tourists - 8/10. Love the slower tempo on No Tourists. I feel there wasn't a strong slower tempo in the last few albums and NT delivers the goodies. The distorted synth is just mean and the beat is heavy. James Bond-like theme and I love that Liam actually sampled the main NT elements from a movie.
5. Fight Fire With Fire - 10/10. This one hits hard. I've been patiently waiting for Liam to pull something like this forever, going to his punk roots. Poison meets Diesel Power! Beastie Boys influence as well. Ho99o9 are a great fit and this collaboration sounds so seamless. The lyrics are fine too - for a Prodigy track that is.
6. Timebomb Zone - 9/10. Great track. I guess this is the Warriors Dance/ Rhythm Bomb of this album - but TBZ is just better for me. The beat is really good and so is the main synth. Really like all the little elements and small touches on this.
7. Champions of London - 6/10. I guess Liam had to have a Keith track in the album. Not the most original track and the lyrics are cringeworthy. It probably works live but won't be one I'm playing on a regular basis. It's a bit too intense - the beat kicks in and it never slows down.. I'm a fan of the slipknot-like drum breakdown though. A step-up for sure from Run With The Wolves and hope it replaces it in the live set list.
8. Boom Boom Tap - 9/10. What a pleasant surprise! I had listened to the shit quality live clip from a while ago and thought BBT was a disaster. The album version is pure raw energy. It feels super fresh and I'm glad it doesn't rely on high pitched voices. Instead it uses a funny Youtube video sample - Liam what have you been up to?? I'm really curious to hear the backstory on this one and how it came together.
9. Resonate - 9/10. Liked it since the first live clip I saw. Initially I was worried it would end up being exact same thing as Breathe dub but the album version delivers. Unique beat and the transition in the end was unexpected and worked great.
10. Give Me A Signal - 9/10. I had really low expectations for the last song and completely expected a filler track. Give Me A Signal turned out to be anything but! The more the track progresses the crazier the acid synth becomes. Lyrics are not bad as well. Great closer.
All in all bravo Liam, Keith and Maxim! I never expected that the Prodigy will be going so strong for so long, producing such high quality new material in 2018!

Ahhh i do remember Invaders and The Day and how disappointed i was deep inside with some tracks.
Everyone in the forum got mad about the Invaders Must Die single and called it a Pendulum rip-off, while i personally loved it. Honestly, its still one of the best tracks in the album.
Omen, Colours and Piranha, man i always skip those tracks. Warriors dance is a bomb, Omen Reprise is 100000000000000000000000000 times better than Omen but its so short, but Worlds on Fire is a giant big disappointment.
The reason i looked forward with that album. Worlds on Fire. I listened to it and i couldnt feel the heat, the energy. Even Molotovs beta-track had more energy!
And The Day. Damn. I loved Nasty (belivie it or not) and The Day single. Again, i looked forward to this album, especially Rokweiler and Get your fight on. I listened to them both just once, and put them in the same crap cathegory as Phoenix. I am still sad about Rokweiler especially because the earlier versions sounds like it could have been Breathe version 2. Kinda funny how you look forward to Get your fight on but not Medicine because youve heard the demo of it, and then it blows you away, Medicine is one of the stronger tracks!
This album then. I heard Need some1. Got really worried about the album. Then came the rest of the tracks. Didnt know what to expect, they sounded so different. Then came We Live Forever. I jumped with joy.
I really wanted to hear Resonate but i got really really worried about it, because ive had the same feelings for Rokweiler, Get your fight on and Worlds on fire, which got changed and ruined so much in the album release. I expected this track to get Getyourfighton'd with demo-like beats and just some normal vocals repeated over and over.
I played it. I expected that Liam would have added many robotic tunes and sounds to ruin the start of Resonate. No, it was calm, and fresh. Robotic voice of Bculture sent a chill down my spine. Then came the beats and everything. Exactly what i wanted. Exactly. The live version, no added stuffs. Is this a sign that Liam knew that it would be better to just leave it like this after Get your fight on?
And then, again, i didnt expect much for the album closer. Dont get me wrong, Wall of Death is good, but i count Rise of the eagles as the album closer. And we have Stand Up. And Fuel my Fire. Did i mention Shoot Down? I didnt expect much. Lol one of the best tracks of the album played at last. Is this a coincidence that it sounds similar to Claustrophobic Sting, the best closer?

Well i myself do agree with you to some degree. Guns Reprise and some beats/unreleased tracks are from the eras before but i guess Liam wanted to release them to public remixed instead of leaving them in the dirt. Same happened before like Heatwave Hurricane remixed to Rebel radio. But still the third best album of theirs in my opinion.

Not sure what you mean, but you do whatever you want in your free time man... It's not about promotion or even about negative opinions, everybody has some. It's about people like you shaming others for liking something. I don't shame you for putting straws in your ass, don't try to shame me for liking No Tourists. Peace man.

No Tourists feels like an instant classic. I really needed this. Came at the perfect time in my life! Only one track on the album that I didn't really agree with at first. It has it's ups and down, but by the time I'm done listening to the album I feel I've been around everything that I love about this band. It's pumping, slow and dark and it gets me riled up. This lone wolf enjoy the barking of these killers from Essex.

As each album, this one's here has different stuff to display again. Most of the tracks are similar and by this term I mean they're tied up well on this concept of evil rave sound. I'd better & easily listen to the full album rather than split tunes It doesn't have the versatility of other albums like IMD for example, but I'd prefer it to TDIME.. Fav slams: Timebomb Zone ( Rhythm Bomb how it should be :D Love the beats on this new tune and a kinda of NERO feel to me a bit ) Resonate (Back to the same feeling when heard live the dubstep version of Thunder) LUTS (my current ringtone ) We Live Forever (the Ultramagnetic MC's sample does it all in here. I'd probably leave Maxim vox cos after the first 30 seconds takes me to an oldskool revival.. massive beats & buildup) Don't want to put rating to the album atm but I'd happily listen to it. Respect to the band we've been raised under their buzz and that goes especially to the 30+ yr old ant mates around the world Nice review Peri... I see all the old BKers back for the new album like a hardcore phellas mash up.. REAL fans are very happy about this album, we just cannot ask more nowdays from a 30 years old band with fresh ideas every time.. This is how it is Liako, even if an old dog when turns old, starts moaning; we'd at least avoid that and enjoy present's time..

Haha! Is there really any need? If you think some on here are going over the top with their liking of the album then you're definitely on the other side of the spectrum. I don't think it's their best album but it has a good number of tracks that I like. A few that I totally buzz off too. I did feel like this a bit with their last album and then cooled off quite a bit so am still wary, but because the tracks I like have some old school elements in them I don't think that'll be the same this time around and I'll realise it's one I like a lot more. When I think of the last album Medicine and Destroy come straight to mind, and WLF and Resonate are doing the same thing already for me. That's without mentioning the other tracks I like. Anyway I'm fairly sure that this album is liked by more than just fanbots. There's some genuinely great stuff on here.

I was sure that in way or another will be faceing this. Some people will like NT, some dont. Personal i dont like some tunes of it (i hear them once or two and that is) like i dont from previous albums. It simple. Dont listen to that. Listen what you like. You expres your opinion, good or bad and get over it. If im not agree whit your point of view it means that my musical tastes are bad? Im a moaner or a lick im the ass? Stop doing this shit. Personal i consider AONO over IMD and TDIME. You have a problem whit this? Its your problem. Like in the first interview that Liam gave: "my music its there, just listen to it". If you dont like, go listen to others album, music or whatever. Or simple. Create the music you like to hear

album is not that good, it nothing new...i feel nothing...its like remake...i hate remakes...if something from deep past is gold and good do not touch it ever!!!...
songs on this album are so different from one another...its like he remade some leftovers from last 4 albums into new songs and than in post production some tardgineers compressed shit together to make magic trick...shit disappear...but shit is everywhere...cant help it...its so poor Yikes, I remember when u said that you're 'leaving' after the release of TDIME. To come back to a shitty album must be devestating. My condolences, stay strong! i really wanted to like NT...but i cant listen to it after 3 times anymore...maybe i do not have that spirit anymore... maybe life is so hard...i dont know i want liam to do real album by name We Love Flowers....fu*ke this London shit... This is a post forcing me to crawl out of my hole... I remember you bitching when TDIME came out and then after some drama you cried and announced that you leave.the site.... Me,the site stuff and the band recovered after the shock... And then 3 years later you strike back!!!(with the no tourist song playing in the backround). Wth happened? Did Liam fuck your boyfriend or something? You came back just to be negative and put the same tape on again.
