You are not your mosh pit. lol

What do you want people to do? I'm not really understanding. When I saw them in NY the crowd was awesome everyone was jumping and signing. And I mean the whole crowd everyone was going mental together. Is that what you call hugging lol In Philly we had our own corner on the left side of the stage so I was able to go as much as I could. I had to slow down already by the time Breathe Dubstep was on for a little bit. The crowd was still good. I don't know NY was awesome but I liked having my own space and not having some sweetie ass guy near me.

I want people to go fucking nuts. I mean, the music is really strong and loud... so you'd expect people to jump, dance & sing. The German crowd wasn't doing anything, it could as well be a sitconcert of Riverdance. In some cases, when I was screaming the lyrics... people in front of me would turn around, look at me with a straight face and I could hear them think 'what the fuuuuuck are you doinggggg? Why are you screaming the lyrics so loud, you're annoying me.'

In other cases I would jump around, grab someone by the coat or shirt, pull them around and just go fucking ape shit. Most of them would jump twice, then step aside and well... do fucking nothing.

I guess noone in that crowd is member of Project Mayhem.

I agree with what you're saying, man... I started a similar topic on this forum about how lame was the crowd in Pisa (Italy, 2007). But in that case, both the band and crowd were weak.
Your situation is different: you've seen the band in good shape and a weak crowd. That's definitely something that would piss me off!

That's why I love 1st row. You don't give a fuck about what's going on behind you, you go so mental that sweat is pouring in your eyes and you don't even know what's going on on the stage, you just scream & jump & twist your head like a ventilator and when the gig is over you are so exhausted you feel like you've just had the best sex in your life

Against the fence is a different experience I completely agree Chavah.
But it's different.

I did that on my first visit ever to a gig of The Prodigy as someone told me you HAVE to stand against the fence if you're going for the first time.
I also did it at Brixton 2 years ago and that way I could really feel the interaction with the band . I heard Take Me To The Hospital for the first time ever that night. I could see them performing the track from a very close distant , with wide eyes and an open mouth , DAZZLED , and that's the experience I had with the fence.

It's fucking beautiful I feel you , but that moment doesn't happen to me the second time I'd stand against a fence while Take Me To The Hospital is being played.

No , that night in Brixton was something truly special, still the best performance I ever witnessed by them.
Now I prefer the position of just a few meters from the fence , say 2 to 10 meters.
And let that Tyler Durden go.
Start Project Mayhem huh Agent O :P

Too many Fight Club references haha

..I mean in a good way, not aggressive. Just, you know... going out of your mind, going crazy. Normally people at a Prodigy gig understand that...

... but the fucking Germans probably don't understand a single word from that cause they watch too many German dubbed movies.

WATCH THIS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSCDtxrAass

Gentlemen... Wikommen in Fight Clüpf. I fucking hate the majority of the German people.

If you're in a pocket where people are stale, why would you settle for complaining and not move to where there are obvious spots of people enjoying themselves? I had a great time at nyc, there were a good amount of people out there to just move to the music, even a group of tight looking chicks were going nuts, eventually making it into the mosh pit. Felt bad elbowing one in the back... you don't see ladies like that often in a pit, but the wink let me know i was in the clear (thankfully)
