but ! people might forget you faster if you release a shit record every 2 years. Kasabian was huge when they came out but the 2-3 years releases hurt their quality. I tried loving their latest record really hard but it's just not good. lost any interest on what they are doing now. The Prodigy on the other hand came No. 1 and everyone is talking about them and reviews are mostly positive.

Yeah, but prodigy promoting them self in uk big. But in other countries very low. I can agree with Neorev. They seem not to care about usa at all. And usa is the biggest market.

What was the point of signing to Three Six Zero? no clue It's actually at #2 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic charts... http://www.billboard.com/charts/dance-electronic-albumsAnd apparently it has moved up from 3rd since last week. They really need to do something over here to get the word out push it up to #1. I don't give a fuck about the charts and neither do The Prodigy I'm sure. They make their loot on touring not album sales. The States gave up on The Prodigy after the long wait for the follow-up to TFOTL and that's fine with me. Fuck 'em.

i don't think the States gave up on The Prodigy... whenever they come here to perform in NYC, the shows are always sold out. it's just that most people don't know they have something new out because they do zero promo here. they would have a lot more sales if they just put a little more effort. when The Fat Of The Land came out, they had commercials on TV and were all over the place. we barely even get a poster in a store shop window... something, anything would help. i think it's the other way around, The Prodigy gave up on the States.

Thing is...do people really buy records now?
Apart from us, collectors and long-term fans, do people go to record shops anymore in 2015?
I miss those times though.

jonyintheplace wrote: a bit off-topic, or not...but does anybody know here how many copies of the Nasty and Wild Frontier promo cd's were made?
It looks like Nasty is more available than WF, which seems pretty rare. Any estimation?
What about the HMV EP? I know people here were trying to work out the total amount of copies for sale too. Don't know about the Nasty and WF promos, but an wild estimate for the HMV EP would be 20 copies per store. According to Wikipedia HMV have 125 stores in the UK, so that's 2500 maximum.

I honestly believe, that the last kind of audience this band needs is the kind that when asked 'bout The Prodigy react like "yea, remeber them track Smabk My Bitch Up, it was awesome".

Look what landed in Jupiter today "It's our job," he says with a malicious smile, "to be the antidote." 0o It seems I'm last one, I haven't still received my CD. I was already thinking it's lost but I guess I need to wait more. They send it only two weeks ago :D I think Destroy and Rebel Radio would be good singles. Too hard? How about Voodoo People, Smack My Bitch Up, all singles from Experience, Firestarter even it had vocals. There's lot of hard singles from Prodigy and they should try also with one hard one. I guess Ibiza is single because Liam want's to send he's USB DJ message and make sure all USB DJ's sees his middle finger And I see Ibiza is joke, just like these DJ's. That's why it's so shitty track :D You are not the only one who is still waiting for the cd to arrive. Mine has still not arrived either and is getting very frustrating I got my CD yesterday, so delivery time was 2 weeks 1 day. Envelope had by airmail mark, wonder what plane is so slow Album sounds better in CD quality, compared to FLAC played via aux cable from computer or phone. After listening album with proper quality, for me this is third best album from Prodigy. Can't beat MFTJG or TFOTL. Good thing is that even I didn't liked Nasty so much as a single, now when it's part of the album, it actually sounds better and makes more sense.
