sound was pretty good!
couldn't hear the female voice in "TDIME" though.

Did you wear ear plugs or any other form of hearing protection?

An article about their live setup.

Interesting. However, I've seen them live eleven times now and during every gig except the first one I have been wearing earplugs.

Any other people here done their Prodigy gigs with hearing protection?

I always do now, since I had a slight ringing in my hears develop. Some tit behind me always takes them out so I can "enjoy myself" though :? .

Hi. Would anyone be able to supply me with the uncensored versions of Ibiza and WOD please? Trying to do a copy for my child but not so I can teach him how to swear like the Prodigy. Thanks!

Fancied doing a 'it's been out for around a month now' updated review of Enemy. Been listening to it a lot recently, and I have some scores to update.

Enemy - 10 It's just so incredibly angry, and gets better half way through. It's a killer track.

Nasty - 6 Nope, this is just ordinary and uninspired. Just cannot get into it. Skip.

Rebel Radio - 10 Beats are gigantic and the actual 'rebel radio' sample is brilliant.

Ibiza - 0 Complete stinker - always skip this.

Destroy - 10 Absolutely fantastic, and previously this was my favourite track. It's Prodigy at their purest.

Wild Frontier - 6 Generic and a bit blah. Another skip.

Rok-Weiler - 10 Now this is my favourite track. The beats in this destroy your system.

Beyond the Deathrway - 10 This has been an astonishing grower. The bassy undertone is just incredible, and I absolutely adore this track now. Its only weakness is the piano is a little jarring and maybe a bit loudly mixed in. If you want this track loud, the piano bleeds through yout ears.

Rhythm Bomb - 0 Horrid. Skip.

Get Your Fight On - 6 Just a bland copy of TMTTH. Skip.

Medicine - 10 Huge beats and the sample lyric doesn't irritate me at all.

Invisible Sun - 6 it just doesn't work for me.

Wall of Death - 8 It's a great track, sometimes I skip it, sometimes I don't. I really wish they hadn't released it prior to the album as it's kind of ruined the traditional closing track.

A little too harsh on Ibiza and Rhythm bomb.
Where's Roadblox? :p

The day: great track but misses a great melody 7
Nasty: 7. Grows on me. Best live track from the new ones. Obvious single in hindsight.
Ibiza: 1. Cannot believe they made a video for this.
Rebel: 8. Great beats. The vocals don't always flow well with the beats and halfway through the track gets a bit boring. But all in all the most exciting.
Destroy: 7. Good oldchool prodigy, but without an epic vocal or melody like thunder, out of space, etc.
Wild frontier: 7,5. The most melodic track of all. The beat is a bit forced but the tune itself is cool.
Rok: 7. Great beats but no memorable melodies or catchy hooks except for the beginning.
Beyond the deathray: 6. The piano is cool but it never goes anywhere, just repeats itself.
Rhythm bomb: 3. Great vocal but the tune is a bit random and messy.
Invisible sun: 7,5. Pretty cool. Could have developed a bit further.
Wall of death: 4. The beat has no flow. It just doesn't have that funk or swing.

I find Ibiza too cheesy and Rhythm Bom one of the worst prodigy trax. Roadblox is epic, it really grows on me more and more.

Rhythm Bomb is by far the most underrated track on the album. I imagine a lot of people were like me in thinking a Flux Pavilion collab would be nothing but utter shit, but I was happy to be proven wrong.

IMD is a little kitty compared to it.

For what it's worth...

Given it a few days and a million playthroughs to sync in, here are my thoughts.

The Day Is My Enemy - Always liked it, big solid beats, well produced. Nothing too fancy, just big dumb beats and a wall of synths. Also like that it's got a slighty different edit to what was released free earlier. I just find it a bit repepetitive. 7/10

Nasty - Still a bit disappointed by this one. I don't HATE it, but I tend to skip it. Not particularly creative and it's The 2015 Prodigy parodying The 1997 Prodigy. Wasn't the best choice for the debut single, and not one of the best on the album. Also annoyed by the synth line ripped from Omen given it could've easily been replaced with something else. 5/10

Rebel Radio - REALLY dig this one. First one that made me stop what I was doing for a sec and think "Fucking Master H! Still got it!" And still one of the ones I repeat frequently. The lyrics give it a kinda Kish Kash-era Basement Jaxx feel to me. The bass drum is a killer. Dig the Heatwave Hurricane bit. I don't mind the resampling of the Firestarter break because it's used a bit differently than it is in Firestarter. Solid. 9/10

Ibiza - No sir, I don't like it. Not much going on there beat-wise...Maybe I don't get it because I'm not British but, Sleaford Mods suck. Although I've gotta admit, the "Blaaaah" part is fun to repeat. Still , I usually skip it now. This track is basically a prop for Liam's first intended marketing message for this album: the "DJs are lazy" tactic that stalled a week into it because people a) don't care, b) saw it as a cry for attention. c) realize that both Prodge AND Sleaford essentially do the same thing live. Except Prodge has live drums and guitar. 2/10

Destroy - Always enjoyed Destroy The Melody, never thought it got the respect it deserved, but this rework kills it. Always like it when Liam can put away the guitar samples and take it back to just the synths, drum machines and samplers like he did when I fell in love with the band. Every aspect is bang on, ESPECIALLY the production on the drums. That said...Again, a little annoyed by the Omen xylophone sample. Was there literally NOTHING else Liam could've put in there? Great ending bit though. 7/10

Wild Frontier - My favourite of the pre-releases/singles/whatever you wanna call'em. Glad it's got a little more time to develop and breathe than the radio edit we'd previously heard. Got a great feel and atmosphere to it. The 8-bit synth line is a little jarring but I don't think it takes anything away. Never thought I'd hear a sample of monkeys or apes in a Prodigy song. 7/10

Rok-Weiler - Just when the album was starting to gain momentum, it kinda loses me here. Never cared much for this as a live track, and don't care much about the studio version either. Don't like the 8-bit intro much, definitely don't like the "chipmunking" of the "Rok, Rok-Rok" vocal. While some rave about this track, it's filler to me. Not the worst, not the best. Decent breakdown at the end though. 5/10

Beyond The Deathray - Not the greatest of Liam's "cinematic" tracks. Could've used a good slow beat, like what he's done with Weather Experience live. It's basically a synth line and some distorted piano. Would fit well in a movie, yea, but doesn't hold a candle to Climbatize or anything in the Narcotic Suite. I usually skip it. 3/10

Rhythm Bomb - Ok Liam, now you've got me back. I read an interview once where Liam says when he releases a new album he wants people to say "Fuck, is that The Prodigy?" This one did it for me. Same feeling I had the first time I heard Action Radar. I don't know which parts are Liam and which are FP, but it's all great. The original Jomanda track the sample is taken from is cheesy as hell but it works so well here. I especially love the 4/4 breakdown parts. It's got funk, it's sexy, modern and classic all at the same time. If I was still going to clubs, I'd love to hear this there. My 21-year-old self made a brief reappearance the first time I heard this. Beauty! At this point, my favourite. Small point though, I think the original title, "I Need A Rhythm," suits it and sounds better. Surprised to see all the hate for this track. It's one of the freshest sounds on the album! 10/10

Roadblox - I don't mind when they take a live track and re-jig it for studio release. That's what Liam's all about. But the fact that this is a remix of a remix of a remix of a remix from 2005 bothers me. This track started off as Spitfire (Nightbreed Mix), then Wake The Fuck Up, then Spitfast, now Roadblox. That snare roll was fun in 05, I'm tired of it now. The intro is very promising, but it gets lost after that. Decent, but not a standout. Filler. 5/10

Get Your Fight On - Wasn't a huge fan of the original live version but I (mostly) really enjoy what Liam's done with this one. The intro hooks you in, the main guitar sample is very catchy as are the lyrics (pointless as always, but its The Prodigy, what do you expect?). I've been looking forward to hearing what ultimately turned out to be the bridge since Liam teased it on Instagram. Very nicely done. My one annoyance, as it is with so many other parts of this album: did he REALLY just straight up lift the beat and bassline from TMTTH!? Seriously!? C'mon Liam! Who u foolin? Loses a point for that. 7/10

Medicine - Now we're talkin. This is the stage of the album where we start to hear a more mature, intelligent Prodigy. Testing new ground. Real progress in their sound. Just a fun track overall. I dare you to not at least nod your head along to it. The arrangement is a little more sparse than typical Prodge. You can hear bits of silence rather than a constant wall of sound, but it works very well. Like the vocal interplay between Maxim and this YT fella. Most fun track here. 9/10

Invisible Sun - Again! A much wanted (by me) change of pace in the band's sound. This came out of nowhere, with all the atmosphere Deathray is missing, a swagger and sneer to boot. Again, I love the sparse arrangement. Highlights the smaller details in the background, and that main reverbed synthline, as minimal as it is, is just killer. Well done, Liam! 9/10

Wall Of Death - Had high hopes for this one after hearing the live vids. A bit disappointed upon hearing the studio version. It's not bad, it's just not as "big" as the live clips made it sound, and it's a bit messy. Yea, yea I know the album's meant for the live show, but that don't mean shit when I'm listening to it at home or in my car. Keith's "fuck this and fuck this cash" part kicks in like a riot though, and it brings a smile hearing Liam in there. I'll give it a 6/10.

Rise Of The Eagles - Meh. A better cover than Fuel My Fire or Ghost Town, but nothing special. Kinda Piranha-esque. It's a bonus track so it's an afterthought to begin with. Just sounds like the band having fun in the studio. Not meant to be taken too seriously, and I don't. I can swear I hear Liam in this track too. In the part "listen up...as we dance on the razor's edge" part. 5/10

All in all, a solid effort. Doesn't blow my mind, which I was hoping it would after a 6-year wait...A bit disappointed that after all that time Liam is so blatantly recycling old ideas. But I still enjoyed it, and remain a Prodigy fan for life. Looking forward to album 7 in 2022.

For me: TFOTL > Jilted > IMD > TDIME > AONO > Experience

So I wonder if Liam is gonna develop that Rebel Radio remix he dropped live.
I actually dug it, sounded fun and energetic dnb-esque style
I love the original, it's my favorite song off the new record.
Maybe we'll get a Rebel Radio single with the new mix as the title track, like Spitfire '05 Edit.
I would love if future singles were different updated or alterate mixes.
It would make the singles more unique and worth purchasing.
Now that the album is out, no one is gonna pay for a single track that they can get off the album unless it comes with something else.

I agree, some bonus stuff would be nice. Either fresher versions or b-sides.
