Exactly.

God, what a lot of shit , stand up IS a masterpiece , shut to fuck up if people don't understand the style of prodigy or don't know ANYTHING of the prodigy

you know how it is a blatant copy-paste of this track, don't you?

I mean, that's not sampling, that's just being lazy and making a pseudo-new track

fuck me! stand up should really be credited as a remix as its basically that tune but with different beats. plus you should know by now if you have an opinion about a prodigy tune on here and its not a good one then you are obviously "wrong"

I have to say I think both Stand up and mescaline are awesome tunes =)

Isn't it wonderfull that how the tracks some find boring are apreciated by others? There's something in it for everyone :D

I know Liam's a psychosomatic sampler, yo, but that's not a problem

but there are different levels to it, which is what I'm not sure you see

I want Liam to sample and give a new personnality of a track out of that sample. but with Stand Up he didn't, at least not enough. Phoenix is a similar case. but I don't think his other tracks are like this (unless someone can point them out to me), that's why I only point these two out

also note I was saying this without speaking of my appreciation of the track, which I think is now about a 5/10

and stop debating with arrogance, use arguments instead

Yeah, Experience wthout all the vocal samples would have been a shit, but Stand Up is too much imo.. Its a remake or I dont know what. Just like Fuel my fire.

Except for a detail that Fuel My Fire is a regular cover version. Stand Up is a kind of a remake.

stand-up is not a track made by Liam imo..

main riff: sampled straight from another tune. Nothing done with it
drums: given to him from Grohl
the rest: is just small things Liam have done. + a random 303 riff

To the guy saying that this is the way Liam works: Come on man.. you know better then that. Two of his best track ever: SMBU and No Good are very much sampled. But it sounds NOTHING like their original sources. Thats how you do good uses of sampling.

Yeah thats another one for sure.. But even that track has more small things done to it, then stand-up

My point was that Liam allmost never do things this way

The way Stand Up was put together is more like the way FatBoySlim does things, not a genius like Liam...
