Liam will be making money from the sale of these reissues so he'd hardly want to sabotage them.

Well, I imagine Maxim will get some money for writing/performing the vocals on 'Poison'.

this means that Lance riddler is getting paid as well lol
But i seriously doubt that the band will get any money from it, since they left XL.
Alot of record companys do that when an artist leaves they keep milking them without the band getting anything.

Nope. Whoever has a writing credit gets paid. XL Recording might be able to release old Prodigy tracks without Liam's permission but "All tracks written by L.Howlett" means that Liam will still make money off them. Why on Earth would The Prodigy advertise the re-release of these albums on their own website if they didn't see a penny from them?

Yah but their contract could have been different. You gotta remember, I'm sure Radiohead wasn't exactly some big group on EMI - when they started out they were pretty small with Creep...kinda like Arctic Monkeys now or somethin - they didn't really get popular till much later in their career (i.e. OK Computer).
Prodigy on the other hand were XL's flagship act basically, sold millions of albums - so I'm sure Liam probably negotiated a pretty good contract.

If the band really cared about the re-releases they would be doing lots of promotional stuff for it, not a brief post on thier myspace/official page about it a week or 2 before it comes out. I think they are concentrating on the new record & an October date seems likely because they stop touring after August which should give Liam time to finish it.

Whoever thinks LH doesn't make a penny from those re-releases is a mental case.
Someone else mentioned the fact that he might not have any control over what they do with the tunes in terms of sale but he's gonna get money from it. Who knows maybe he signed a fat deal before?
They might not endorse this kinda behaviour but at the end of the day everyones a winner really.
We get some amazing remasters and new shit and everyone else is getting paid

They're playing in September. Also if it was coming out in Oct it would have to be finished by August latest. Not gonna happen...

Yeah man, i agree, if Liam didn't create the new label, he would still be with XL and nobody would say anything.
I don't mind if he can still create his OWN music.
