Saw what happened the last 10 years to my other favourite ''bands''...Daft Punk and the Chems.

brrrrrrrr!!!

I scratched The Chemical Brother off of my favourite bands list after Surrender.

Come to think of it, I had 5 favourite bands.
RATM
Beastie Boys
The Chemical Brothers
Senser
The Prodigy

Dismantled, cancer, obsolete, resurrected and still smashing.

Shame that, good music shouldn't have a sell by date, I mean we still have classical music ppl don't say those composers are stuck in the 1800's.

No, but on the other hand, they're dead.

Yeah...Surrender was their last good album. Do you agree that Daft Punk's best album was the 1st? Homework and not the Discovery-commercial album?

I've never been all that much into Daft Punk and I know only Homework, aside from some of their more recent successes that were overplayed everywhere (can't stand Get Lucky). I do respect them and acknowledge their talent, but I'm more into breakbeats. :happydance:

So its not confirmed yet. I hope we get another Prod track before album release.

About Colours. Just my opinion but i liked this track alot. Beats were AONOish, melody IMDish and "Show your colours" bit trippy except the sampled crap itself that made me think of Pendulum. Theres one problem i have with this track and its the vocals. And lyrics are bad too.

How many Prodigy tracks ruined just because of the vocals.

I heard Maxim will rap in Roadblox? Dear god let it not be another track i trash just because of the lyrics.

Also people saying that Liam will never go back to the early 90s. I think he can create the music he did back ago, but Liam seems to have this kind of thinking that he dont want to ever go back, so he keeps trashing every good track he makes just because they sound like the old ones. Someone stop him!

Maybe one day he will get his old nerdy brown hairstyle :P

We talk about the band like it is 100% certain and natural that Liam will never write an album so good and commercial that yeah will not be as groundbreaking like the 90's albums but it will make them very very popular again. I think of some artists that were writing music for 20 years or more, their star declined and suddenly they wrote a very good comeback. Remembers anyone 99's Santanas Supernatural? The man in the 90's for some years he could not even have a record contract.

I think many are convinced that it's the last album (which is the case with each album).

Well i dont miss the 90s.

All i want is Liam to drop his as someone mentioned overdone stuffs on his tracks.

I want to concentrate on the tunes he makes but theres almost always something over it. If Nasty didnt have that electronic sound over the riff while Keith sang his lyrics, then it would be so much better. Same with that odd Omen-kind of sound over the alien-like tunes.

Since AONO has he been putting this electronic weird stuffs that torture my ears. Sure hes done this in a long time but he used a piano in the older days so i could hear the tune itself.

The questions keep popping up. Why does he like it? Does anyone else like it? Would people be mad if he started using a real electro-piano again like MFTJG instead of this Phoenix/Omen/Medusas path etc torture things?

Keith and Maxim might get too old to perform live and tour but i think Liam will write 1 more solo a la AONO album till 21'.

Nah , look at Iron Maiden they're in their 50s and performing like their in 30s. Max and Keith are always fit.
