dbm is nice of you to register just now to tell us how shit the prodigy is.
ah yeah liam does it only for the money, and they always did it for the money.and yeah they are riping of justice sound and pendulum sound.so what pend and justice based their music on liam's early work?liam is robbing them go figure.he is such a sell out.
also i've just heard from a 15 year old kid that prodigy isn't even cool anymore, seems that lady gaga is cool now.she is such a artist and she has so much artistic diversity.her album you can even listen to it after a year, that's how briilliant is.last i heard liam was begging her to let him produce her album but she refused cause she is a real artist, she doesn't go around on stage naked ,only with her panties on to sing.only the prodigy do that, they tatto them self to look cool and get naked for the little teenage girls to buy their new record.
imagine that these cunts think their music is influential, like they ever did a record that is still listened today after 18 and it's still apreciated.what loosers they are

@ dbn
all the artists in the past was influenced by other artists.it is not important which style liam used...you know that pendulum said that there style was influenced by Prodigy???It is not so easy to write a epoch-making stuff like "TFOTL".So keep it cool and listen omen now!!!!
it's a great tune.Pendulum isn't so melodically....definetely hehehehee

Yo DBN ..... if Liam's only concerned about what the people (we) wanna hear .... then please feel free to explain why he's never released Trigger or Nuclear ? Tracks we've always been requesting ?
If he would only do it for the money, he could release another album right away without even needing to create any new tracks and just fill it with old unreleased tracks and it would still be a #1 selling top notch album.

in my opinion liam is not influented only by pendulum or justice, he is too good to copy their style. but if i'd hear omen on the radio i wouldnt say its the prodigy. this style isnt my cup of tea but i'm still waiting for wd and tmtth

I understand what you mean.. I don't ever really listen to any Prodigy tracks these days. To me, their music is very disposable, although I will end up buying IMD, I will probably forget about it after 6 months and will just get bored. There is more to music than "phat beats" and "phat basslines". Too much emphasis on compression with a lot of dance tracks these days. Just seems to me that Liam is only bothered about what people would like to hear from The Prodigy, instead of being the musician he is and write what he wants.. this is when I start to lose respect for musicians who crave the sales they rake in on their work, and create very disposable material after waiting years and years for a new release. I have to say though, I am looking forward to hearing the studio version of Warriors Dance. jokers of the week what a load of utter bollocks you spout mate..im amazed at how much you dont actually know the prodigy are so far away from worrying about record sales and what people want to hear.. they are the only band who dont sound like anyone else, who are not frightened to take risks with what direction they go in, to experiment and for as your its not all about phat beats,, for 1 dont ever say the word phat coz u sound like a tosser, the music is very layered if you listen to it, so many elements to it,..you must be from the pendulum forum, i mean ur entitled to your opinion of course and you feel how you feel but dont write utter bollocks mate. I am not your mate. Has Liam called you up and told you that he isn't worrying about what people think and how the sales are going to go with the album? Do you think the new tracks you have heard are not imitations of musical styles which have already been adopted by the likes of Pendulum and Justice? - who are doing very well from what I hear comercially. Please note how I typed "phat" in speech marks, (meaning I am literally taking the piss out of the word "phat"). Thanks for having a discussion with somebody by also managing to slip in a personal remark, apparently I am a tosser.. because of my opinion Plus you conclude your post by stating I am entitled to my opinion which is great to hear because I have to be careful around a fan forum, but I also have to take your advice and stop uttering bollocks.
commercially? who are you? a PR man for xl records and your a bit disgruntled that the prodigy leaving and making a load of money, imo record sales for liam are way down on his list of priorities when writing a record, hence why we have had 5 albums written in 19 years of them being together.... not really a great return for u is it PR man?
whatever your opinion on imitations of musical styles what does that have to do with it? for me there would NEVER be an over obvious imitation by the prodigy of anyone, they set the standard to such a high level that people follow them, music styles of course will cross over and the obvious comparisons will be made however i think when its comes to the prodigy they are the leaders and people such as you say, pendulum justice etc clearly follow and are influenced...

Oh jesus christ, Justice were always clever marketed but as far as their actual record sales go, believe me - its really not that high. Its actually quite low considering the hype that goes with them.
I dont give two fucks if he copied Pendulum or Justice since he generated both of those bands with his work anyway. I want him to fill that bank account as far as it goes. I want him to roll in money for the rest of his life.
DBN, quite idiotic of you to come to a Prodigy forum dissing this or that when you have no credit and quite frankly - nobody will take you seriously.

"The dance scene in particular has always been quite snobby against us." He has relentlessly baited clubbers in the past, memorably telling one journalist that he hoped Ibiza got bombed. Understandably, he is unmoved by dance music's recent decline in fortunes. "I really don't know much about it to be honest. I don't listen to much dance music. That kind of Ibiza music, that shit that Pete Tong plays, I hate that shit. I sound like my dad, but it's fucking music by numbers. The lack of imagination does my brain in. Like, if I'm in a petrol station and the dude pulls in with his fucking shades and his nice shirt and his car stereo playing his Ibiza music, it just fucking irritates me. They're so fucking annoying. It's so stale, something needs to poke out. It would be cool to have bands that are like, electronic bands with leather jackets on, but with no guitars, no drum-kits, just raw electronics. If there's any fucking kids out there, I'm up for producing you, because I'm into the idea of creating an army against the DJs."

Fair enough. I know he wasn't a fan of what Paul Oakenfold played when The Prodigy toured with him and Moby. DJ Floor Clearer they called him.
