fuck em and their law! Complitely agree! Adding to this even Slaves "had" to change their powerful band name to this teethless version: Soft Play Europeans should not Be so easily misguided by these woke antics.

SLAVES chose to change their name. If they hadn't changed it they wouldn't have gone on to write what I consider to be easily their best track by far, "Punk's Dead". Listen to the lyrics of that track. It's literally about people who complained about their name change.

Wow, they actually changed SMBU to a safe censored piece of junk? Its definitely lost its teeth and punk attitude! The whole buildup and then Maxim shouts....... Change my pitch up...., wtf massive cringe! This alteration is definitely a step in the safe woke direction that plagues our time and it sterilizes a perfect tune.
What could be the reason for this? Liam and Maxim suddenly became boring old and civil? Their wives bitching about the lyrics? They were electronic punks, but now they are electronic safe civilians.

I didn't even notice they had missed out the lyric, possibly the other 20,000 people around me going mental shouting 'Smack By Bitch Up' didnt either... It hasn't lost any of its edge in the slightest
Funny how wound up people are other a complete non-thing, it's even in Mixmag/Guardian etc today like it matters... people are way too soft these days man they can say and do whatever they want

I've seen comments around the internet that it's not unusual for Prodigy to make changes to older songs. True, but changes/tweaks are one thing, censorship is another. Certain stupid people want to make other people stupid too. Go woke go broke! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9ardpzPAdc

Just got back home from the Ziggo Dome (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). I hadn't read anything about the current concerts, neither did I watch videos beforehand. I wanted to go in blank, back to how seeing the band was 25 years ago for me. I was expecting to hear at least one new track, but no new tracks were played. I can't recall Maxim shouting Smack My Bitch Up, but the sample was there like always. Hadn't heard about any fuss around it either in advance, only reading about that now. Diesel Power with the Knight Rider theme was the highlight of the evening for me. Absolutely loved it. Lots of new fills, for me anyway. And Firestarter... Such a beautiful tribute to Keith. Together with Diesel Power my two favorites. Went backstage after the show, but the band went on. Had fun though with karaoke in the hospitality bar. It was a nice evening.

You quote Harbinger's videos from Birmingham, but there is none of SMBU recording there at all. Anyway, looking at other videos on the internet, was can see that the song was censored in Birmingham too. Arie wrote: Just got back home from the Ziggo Dome (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). Hadn't heard about any fuss around it either in advance, only reading about that now ... Ok, for those who didn't follow: SMBU was three-way censored at all eight concerts in the UK. Not only did Maxim not sing the lyrics, but the sample was also removed, and the song on the tracklist was renamed to just "Smack". Fortunately, things may be looking slightly better outside the UK. At the first two shows in Luxemburg and Netherlands, at least the original samle was returned, while Maxim still refused to sing the words. It's hard to say what's really going on atm...
