Exactly my thoughts. Although saying that did the newer versions of Mescaline still have the molotov coctail sample in it? I can't remember since there are actually no recordings of the most recent version anywhere. God it would be a sin if that track never gets released.

Yes there are good recordings of the most recent version of Mescaline, the molotov coctail sample is gone though... check the Prodigy Live thread. it should still be there.

well what happened was Mescaline was Unstoppable (with the cocktail sample) then it came back renamed as Mescaline with a new break down section and a completly new chorus without the Cocktail sample.

and yeah i said before i dont think omen reprise is beat 55 but i thought the hard bassy bit of omen was omen reprise, like liam mixed both together live, now that i've heard the studio version of omen i know the hard bit is in it so i too believe beat 55 is omen reprise

Naaaa not the version that was played at a select few of the festival gigs in the summer. I've never heard a recording of that shit, not even a shitty camera phone one, nada!

Cheers cogz, I couldn't really remember. Seems pretty ominous that omen reprise will be beat 55.

from the way Neko described Omen Reprise in her album review, Im starting to think theres not much in it that's gonna sound like Beat 55 other than maybe the xylaphone
