I agree thunder isnt a world class tune, but better than WOF for me. Theres different kinds of cheesy. Theres the lady gaga cheesy and the "no good" kind of cheesy, and WOF imo is the lady gaga kind. Plus theres 15 and more years between that and the other tunes you mention, but even charly has a beat which WOF hardly has. Its trying too hard and has some 40 year old MC shouting "worlds on fire and its about to expire" like it was the best lyric he ever came up with, closely followed by a speed up icecream van melody. Had it been japanese i might have found it funny (like all your base are belong to us), but i just cant take it seriously at all.

And you can take "always tell your mommy before you go off somewhere" seriously? Yes, there are lots of years between WOF and the other tracks, but this was the purpose of IMD, to combine new stuff with old stuff. And they did.
With Prodigy, it's pointless to talk about lyrics, they're as bad as Scooter's, for example. It's not about that, it's about beats, samples, melody and the way it makes you feel when you hear their stuff live or in a club, for example. And WOF always makes me wanna dance, jump, bash my head into a wall, and so on. Thunder...makes me wanna have a glass of milk and go to bed and 9 pm.

Its has meaning and makes sense it its original context, and is used as a purposely funny joke in "charly". Naturally there is a point discussing lyrics, although their importance isnt equally big in every track. Does the shite lyrics in Scooter tracks make the music better, or does it make it all even more laughable?

well i would want WOF as next single just in the hope of getting the old version back.. i was amazed the first time i heard it and was looking forward to hear it on the album but got dissapointed :p
For me its a big difference, i love the old one but the changes they did to the tune made it complete rubbish imo.
So WOF being the next single would be the last opportunity to get the old one back :p.
If its the album version, go for thunder.

I'd prefer World's On Fire over almost any track on the album as a single...because it has attitude and it's powerful; like TMTTH. Thunder is awesome, but it's more generic than anything else on the album...saying that i really don't think we should argue about the single....were lucky were even getting another single (if we are).

The Prodigy should do something crazy...
every track should have a single...
then everyone will be happy...
honestly Colours would seem like a nice choice for a single
it's catchy
it is pretty radio friendly
