colours wrote: hey why in germany OMEN is called O ??
some kind of censorship ? forbidden word ? nazi-related ? hmmmm
"first of all, thank you, i had a great time interviewing these guys because i'm a fan too. it was really an honour for me to do this.
so, why is 'omen' called 'o' in germany? there's a german dance act from the 90's called MAGIC AFFAIR. this dance act filed a suit against the prodigy because they had a "hit" single called 'omen' back then. this is really a strange case because this was not about a copyright band name or something, it was just all about the title of a song. i highly doubt that the prodigy used a sample from the magic affair folks. i only know the magic affair 'omen' song from trying to ignore it back then.
greetings
markus kavka"

Like everyone else back then...
Where's that from?
So that means that the singles are going to have nothing but "o" printed on front... nice, more to collect! lol

During my trip to London 2 years ago me and my schoolmates asked some people what they think about Germany and so on, one guy also told us his favourite german word: "DURCHFALL"

Off-topic:
LEARN GERMAN with FLACHCRACKER
"Autobahnausfahrt" pronounced in english could be written
Ow toe barn ous fart [speak it fast, you should get it!]
Explanations:
Ow = try to speak a silent "U" in "ow"
Toe= It´s an "O" more than an "U"
Barn = remove the spoken "r"
Ous = It´s german for "Aus" - but "A" is not spoken like "ey", more than like "Ou"
Fart = yes, like the fart, but keep the "R" away during speakin the word....
If you wanna speak a really good english word, just say
WHO´S TEN RIGHTS
which is in German = Hustenreiz, that means caugh allure !
