Its not like this example has not happened. Mani from The Stone Roses has played with the tribute act 'The Complete Stone Roses'. He's played with them numerous times in fact and actually applauded by 99.9% of Roses fans for doing so.

IMO gizz butt is doing fuck all these days (compare to the fuck all he was doing even in the prodge)
and come on.. you cannot compare him to wes borlands role in limp
having said that, the tribute act looks like a parody act, who cares tho really? i compare it to molotov beatz doing remakes of tracks, if you dont care for it u never have to see them.
sometimes i think prodigy could actually do with a couple tips when playing live, but i still love it 2 death despite any glitches. its possible to have a different interpretation on how tracks could be performed, so would be interesting to see these guys one time.

What the fuck the point in this video is though I do not know..... I mean seriously.
HAHA yeah I know what you mean...It seems dumb to have just used one set of footage with a recorded track dubbed on.
Just wondering how many people have actually "GOT" the fact that we didn't make this vid, it's infact an advert made by the promoter for one of our forthcoming shows.....

Hmmm...you haven't really grasped the concept of a "Tribute Band" have you? Or at least not how it's done in the UK.
It's nothing to do with taking any credit for anything other than giving people who come to see us an enjoyable night out. Entertainment.
That's ok, not your fault!

Yeah of course, people would rather see the real deal, and so would we, and we do whenever they come around. But that's not the point is it? A lot of people still come and see US as well, I fail to see the problem with that, I really do.
People come see us, have a good night out and come back again time after time. Who cares about anything else? What's with everyone on here taking it SOOOO seriously? Even the Prodigy themselves are ok with us so you tell me?

How do you know The Prodigy themselves are ok with you? EVer heard Maxim talk about the 'immitators' before 'killing them off with diesel power'?

Oh sweet fuckin jesus...............
Maxim refers to the 'Invaders' as the outside forces that have influenced the band's vibe in the lead to making IMD. Keith, Liam and Maxim have referenced this plenty of times in interviews when referring to the band not talking to each other back in 2003/2004. Invaders Must Die is a mission statement to show how strong The Prodigy are as a 3 piece unit.
I hardly think that a tribute act such as Jilted Generation hold any threat to The Prodigy or even think of them as 'invaders' or 'imatators'

You should have posted that blog post earlier
My reason for wanting to see you guys, is to get to enjoy prodigy music with a more relaxed vibe, where there's space to dance and not just mosh.
I'll keep my eyes open for facebook updates near me.
I think i saw ur tickets on ebay too, now there's a first.

IMO, Tribute bands should only exsist when the original band is done.
but...if they are only playing outdated material compared to the current live band, that would be alright.
That's the cool thing about being a DJ, is that I can drop their tunes whenever. Maybe not get a the same effect as a live band, but at least I can enjoy the music with a club full of party people.

Anything associated with that gig on the vid sucks btw i..dont blame people for..instantly thinking that is not a great visual tribute to the band
I think it's cool that Gizz played with you.
Eddy, can you put some of your own stuff up so people know exactly what it's like. If you say the video is not a true representation of your work then I'd like to see what is.
