Deleted it. Sony copyright shit, no fucking idea for what, the audio or the video. Whatever.

Haha. This became quite a hate thread for Pendulum  I just made this because I found their intro interesting, didn't know was it supposed to be aimed to The Prodigy, but I think it was more of a joke really. But cool that this makes so strong reactions. Personally I like Pendulum's music, but find the guys lame-ish. Whatever, Prodigy will always rock more than any other act!

OMG CLEARLY ABOUT PRODIGY!!!! MASS HYSTERIA!!!111!!!

Quote:
'People were starting to infiltrate our unit, starting to bleed into what we were and we needed to re-establish ourselves as a unit. I can't remember whether it was Keith or Maxim that said it, but one of them went, 'fuck it, invaders must die!'. I was like that's the album title right there. It stayed with us. It's about protecting what's yours.'

It was more about the negative vibes during AONO and people they knew stirring up shit between them, not directed at other bands supposedly biting their sound.

If you don't like Pendulum, fine, don't like them. Get over it.

"WE MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE INVADERS"

"WE ARE PENDULUM"

All in a robotic computer voice......

If you can't see that this is either a response to IMD or is an idea they've copied from The Prodigy then you must be blind... (well.... deaf)

Yeah LH explained what or who "the invaders" were but I guess Pendulum either don't know about that or are trying to turn nothing into something.

And yeah I don't like Pendulum, I tried to get into to them at the 09 BDO but just couldn't.

Never liked this band, always thought they were the same boring beat with little else original. They lack the creative synth lines and general complexity that Prodigy has...

Pendulum are releasing a new album this spring and just noticed an interesting thing. They did some gigs previewing their new album 'Immersion' and in the intro of the gig there is possibly a message to the Prodigy. If Prodigy ever meant Pendulum were among the Invaders who imitated their sound and so on, this is an answer to 'Invaders Must Die'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtpfWYLNSRM

2:08 - 3:03

"We may or may not be the Invaders, but one thing is for sure. We will not be destroyed."

Also in the end of that speech they say "We Are Pendulum" in a similiar way The Prodigy said "We Are The Prodigy".

War is on?

that's right man!

i was saying that from the beginning - all those interviews are fucking rubbish and shit-talking - Invaders Must Die was a direct message to bands like Pendulum not a "message to ourselvs... blah blah"... Hard Dance electronica is really strong now, i think they touched Liam's ambition, he likes to compete as he was always saying...

if this is what people think it is then all it shows up are Pendulum's insecurities with their music writing and production, if they are so concerned about what the prodigy are doing then thats a good thing for the prodigy, i dont really care too much what pendulum or any band think about them, thats the beauty of the band, so unpredictable and set the highest standards that they leave everyone else behind...however for people to be saying they are going to bottle them at milton keynes gig is wrong, and just makes yourself look like a wanker, if you dont like the band go and get a beer but dont be a fucking tosspot and spoil it for people who may wanna see their set...

Naaah, this is one of the most direct ways to let a band know just what you think of them. If Pendulum get upset over it then it just shows what a bunch of pretentious sissyboys they really are. ;)

bottling pendulum  ... you have to go to the front at least for... like 30 meters... close so to speak... hence listen to their music AND spend money for the bottle... for a hardly noticeable effect...

do it properly or leave it

do something useful like... eating healthy food or some such...
