guys i think this is getting too out of hand....lets respect that people will listen to whatever they want, the overall matter is that everyone on here has a genuine love for The Prodigy and thats one thing im sure we cant argue about!

maybe, but this is a prodigy forum with more members than not willing to trash talk anything that doesnt support or isnt prodigy. it's one user versus many on the issue, in a sense it still doesnt balance out. we just all need to keep the peace and respect atr doesnt like prodigy otherwise this will go on forever. in the end all we'll find is many prodigy users going one way or another. some will hate atr, others will tolerate or like atr... i could just as easily find atr fans who dont like prodigy but that's not the point. this was just one professional artists view on another band. happens every day, just look at the rap industry

ok, but him saying for example: "you don't understand atr/alec empire music and you're postin' a piece of big fuckin' shit" is ridiculous. I would think the same if on the ATR fan forum (or here, or wherever) some Prodigy fan posted: "you don't understand Liam's music etc."

if you want another perspective, you could say it's all a bit of macho posturing. 'i'm harder than you are' kinda thing. 'my testosterone is sexier than yours....'

the beatles and the rolling stones did it, blur and oasis did, eminem and the insane clown posse did it, i'm sure beethoven and tchaikovsky did it too (laughing just imagining that one!), and now alec and liam are supposedly doing it. even people here are doing it!

have you noticed that there's a common male thread running through all this. when they get older and their sperm count drops, they'll mellow out and not give a shit i reckon. in fact, i think the only people who give a shit are people here and in atr forums (where exactly the same kind of posts are probably being made, but with the names changed).

liam and alec are no doubt getting on with their lives, not even thinking about it, while people here are getting all wound up!

at the end of the day, NO musician is really political. if they were they would be starting a revolution, assassinating a president, or DOING something political. have you ever heard of a revolutionary person from history who also had a music career at the same time? they don't have the time!

musicians are all about ego. you have to be to get up in front of people and do what they do. when 2 big egos (especially male) meet you get a confrontation. i think this is also what's going on here in this thread.

oh, and one last thing. pop is short for popular. alec and liam are both popular artists from popular groups
