Hey hang on a min , how many fucking cover bands do U2 ,Kings of leon, ect have ???
So weres the contract saying nobody cant form a Prodigy tribute band ?
These lads do a cracking job and they have there own material that is also wicked!
Not only have they been going for a number of years now and had x prodigy guitarist played on stage with them, they have also played infront of thousands of people and have a great fan base!
Dont sit behind your pc`s and call these lads for having a good go cos anybody can be negitive easy , do what i did and go see them live ! only then can you have any sort of opinion!!
And my opinion is .... they rock ! cant wait to see em again cool guys to hang out with too
Rant over > now weres my suns of leon album

Now if they were an original band who were directly ripping off the prodigy that different.
exactly, I don't really understand the hate....
I'd see these dudes if I could, it's better than me sitting around by myself cranking Prodigy tunes!

time for me to chime in here.
for all the people sat behind their computers giving these lot a hard time - sort your life out. obviously to some people, they will never understand the point of a prodigy tribute band. the band pride themselves on being different and original, and they would of never expected to have a tribute band. or if they did, they certainly wouldnt expect the tribute to be as authentic as jilted are.
for example. If anyone can actually bring themselves down to a gig, im sure the lads would happily walk you around the rig that 'liam' has got. If your as hardcore as alot of people on here apparently are (believe me alot of you dont have a clue about what being 'hardcore' is on this site, cough cough), u should straight away notice that he has almost the same synths, the same laptop setup, the same stickers on the keyboards, even the floppy discs next to the w-30 like they are in liams setup.
apparently most of you lot seem to think that these lads are just a bunch of dossers dancing around to a cd. you would be wrong in thinking that. when something changes in the prodigys set, it does almost straight away in jilteds. from the diesel power melody to the 'cut the mid range' sample in SMBU.
if this looks like im lickin their ass then too true I am, these are my boys. theyve given me the opportunity to play before them onstage with my own material live. ive played some wicked gigs in wicked venues with these lads. they didnt have to do it either, i was just lookin for the one gig one time infront of a crowd that would understand my tracks, but they loved what i did and got me gigs up and down the country and i respect them so much for it!
dont sit there and slag these lot off it you aint actually been to see them. the band themselves are more than aware of jilted and as maxims blog post stated from a couple of years ago, they respect them too.
and to answer this question about their own material. well like i say, go and see a show. theyve recently done a pretty wicked track with slipmatt too. 'fake liam' writes better tracks than alot of people on here would ever imagine. hes also more inventive in places with liams music than liam is these days. and thats a statement.

Thanks Tom and Steady!
It's kinda sad to see how much hate we get on here and Nekosite, OK not everyone's gonna "Get" it, people will be sceptical, but c'mon...getting personal about it? That's happened both here and over at Nekosite and it's not really called for. At the end of the day we provide entertainment, nothing more nothing less. We try our very best and people always leave with a smile on their faces. You can't ask for more can you?
If you don't like us then thank you very much, we'll see you around, but we're just not doing this for you..fair comment?? IF you Do like it then we're all here to party!
Our original material is coming along and we're currently in talks with a label with a view to our first EP, in addition to our recent original colaboration with Slipmatt (SL2).
On a side note, I dunno if anyone's actually interested but it cant hurt to mention my other two original bands.
Police Bastard, who've got a new EP out in a couple of weeks on Ironman Records in the UK/Europe, and the same EP coming out in the US as a split LP with our friends War//Plague on Profane Existance Records.
Some interesting trivia for you: I actually replaced Gizz Butt on guitar in Police Bastard.
Last Under The Sun: Again with a new release on Ironman Records, but quite different to Police Bastard musically. The band had been on a Hiatus since 2005, but I have since joined to make it a 4 piece and we're about to start rebuilding the band's profile. Exciting (for us) times!
