A couple of translated bits, some are direct quotes from the mouth of Liam Howlett himself:
New record is sounding fast and raw, "kinda oldskool 1991 Prodigy", "will have one or two colaborations with relatively unknown people", "Will have better worked lyrics", "couple of tracks are inspired by the sonority of the first three records"
few thoughts about AONO: "i also feel it was our worst period", "there are no excuses, it was the record that needed to come out at the time..", "When we (the band), got together we decided that if we had re-recorded the album it could have been great... we decided that the new record would be better.. and it is already."
"Our best record is Jilted due to it's originality...", "Fat of the Land has a few good songs"
those are the bits of interest really O.o.

sorry for the delay, busy weekend. it may contain erros
Quote: Where are the prodigy heading 10 years after FOTL?
Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim are together recording the follow up of AONO. The new record, still unnamed, is the fifth record by the band that changed the music scenery in the 90's. Liam is the creative member in the prodigy and he doesn't mind taking about tough subjects, such as the non-participation of Keith and Maxim on AONO.
If Experience in 1992 and MFTJG in 1995, got Europe to dance (with hits such as No Good, Out Of Space or Poison), it was FTOL that allowed them to become international superstars. The album got to number 1 in the USA, which surprised Liam Howlett. "We already had two albums. We were surprised to reach number 1 in the USA. But The success was built in the previous albums", says Liam, also adding that FOTL isn't the best album by The Prodigy.
Then years went by since the release of this third album, recently Liam pick it up again to help him choose the direction for the new record. " I Think the production is really good. we got back to it, to search for same kind of sounds. I think the second album is our best one, for its originality... The third had good songs. We went back in time to learn with what we have done and some songs on this new album are quite inspired by the firsts ones."
But if the first three records are to be proud of, AONO was the result of an less inspired era by Liam. Has it been misunderstood? "No,no, i don't think so. I think it has good songs in it, however as a whole it didn't came out as strong as the other records. I also think it was our worst period, Theres no excuses, it is what it is. It was the record that had to be released at that time. The band was falling apart and at some point we stopped to talk to each others - which lasted for five months. It's a strange record. When we got back together, if we re-recorded the album the result would be much better. We already said that the next album would be the best one... and already is."
The new album will mark the birth of Ragged Flag, label owned by the band. The Prodigy decided to leave XL Recordings because they needed a change. "We felt that our relationship with XL ended and we needed to move on. We thought if we should sign to a major or stay independent. We end up deciding that we should keep our independent roots and create our own label". The new album should contain only one or two collaborations: "it will be relatively unknown people, some with only a record released."
Energetic record, a return to the roots, the new album is redefining the band personality. " We are only interested in making loud and exciting music, thats what we want to keep on doing. In the new album, we will try to work harder on the songs and lyrics". the excitement for the new songs is evident: " until now it sounds very fast, some songs are very prodigy old school style, almost like in 1991. Quite raw and speed up."
Despite the will to play this record live, the new songs haven't been tested live. Liam, says that in the end of the year the band might return to Portugal to present the new album.
----------- about BGAT flop and press Liam H says:"Sometimes i would like to say it doesn't matter, but it does. I spend a lot of time writing music and the songs are very close to myself - i get frustrated with what people say, but i don't care when they say "you should have done this or that"."

Interesting news, thx! It seems they're gonna start a tour for the new album already at the end of this year, that's cool.
But the topic should be moved to the news section, dont you think?
