its a pity mindfields should have been fully released as a single when it was supposed to (Jun '96) or maybe a few months before FOTL (Mar-April '97 maybe?), cause fat of the land only got 3 singles, like aono.
Would this had been awesome:
1. Mindfields (Edit)
2. Mindfields (Monkey Mafia Mix)
3. Ghost Town
4. We Eat Rhythm (Jungle Mix)
That means:
Keith track (Firestarter),
Maxim track (Mindfields),
Breathe (Keith and Maxim track),
SMBU (Band track)
I wonder what the video would have been like? It probably would have got to No.1 too.
Also Wake Up Call should have been released instead of Hotride.
What do you guys think?

break and enter should have had its own single in my opinion, its a real down to earth tune and its even in the vocals.
maybe shoot down should have had a release (even trigger if it had made it) the track certainly had the potential to be a single and it would have been loved by the masses for its sound but then again omen is number 8 and none of my mates are into that type of music
i also think climbatize should have had a single, they've never had a really chilled out single,
unfortunatly i can't think of anything else from the old days, i think aono done well with its singles hence i've said nothing there

it's pure science fiction man, but i must admit, it's interesting
maxim is my favourite bandmember and i'd really liked to see mindfields video....
it could be a fast, hallucination atmosphere video. with lots of electronic tricks. some dark vision of dangerous city at the night, a bit similar to smbu, but filmed from another perspective, and also with maxim character 'walking through the mindfields' ....
i think it might told the story about the same chick as SMBU. she could appeared there as a main character - it could be like, she is getting intoxicated more and more by Maxim's character and Maxim's lyrics - and finally her behaviour went lunatic.. of course special effects could be usable there .. and the culmination point, could be when they met each other. at that moment of song when maxim laughs and says 'i walk through mindfields yea'
 i went too deep? sorry
well anyway, its 12 years back in time now so i think we have a right to be nostalgic for a while..
my other candidate is FUNKY SHIT: + video, all about leeroy dancing

Nah man thats sounds cool, yeah maybe they should have released Funky Shit as well as Minefields and milked it even more lol after all there was a large gap between Firestarter - Mar96 to FOTL - Jun97.
Minefields could have came just before the album Mar97 and Funky Shit could have come out Feb 98 as last single lol
Taking it even further, they should have released "We Do What The Fuck We Want" as an EP in Dec'99 when we first heard it live around that time (love that track, it was really dark and rockin perfect for pre year 2000 paranoia vibe) when i first heard that back then i was expecting it to be released lol, boy was i dissapointed

It would be really hard for them to make it shorter so it can fit with a video/radio play.

break and enter, rather than one love, that tune baffles me.
warning, even as a stop gap tune like bgat, first warning was a stupid idea.

Agreed!
I would have loved that, the live version, full vocal version and perhaps a remix of an old track on there. I think they should stick new versions of old tracks on all their singles from now on. I'd love it, like if we got stuff along the lines of break and enter 05, breathe dubstep or so on as a track. it'd be a nice little treat

awesome! but the female vocal is still there, prodigy tracks sound darker without female vocals, some work like no good, warriors dance, rhythm of life.

no, listen to the el batori mix 3 that has no female vocals in it.
only the 'my beautiful, my beautiful' thing at the breakdown.
