I don't think it is. There is no disco or punk sound in Wild West. Not only that but if it was Disco Punks renamed then I would have thought the digital CD text itself would still have said Disco Punks like it still says Comanche. It doesn't though, it says Wild West. I think Disco Punks was pulled, unless we have reliable proof otherwise?...

I think it is! Because Wild West sounds very similar to Daft Punk's Robot Rock!

Daft Punk - Robot Rock
The Prodigy - Disco Punks

*maybe this is the main reason why they rename it!

They have changed it sooner, they have announced it later.

Personally I think it is very punk disco. Reminds me of 'Squeeze - cool for cats'. Basically punky guitar riffs that you can dance to, hence the name Disco Punk!

At least that's my take on it! I believe they are the same track. I much prefer the name 'Disco Punk' though, but I can understand that Daft Punk may have gotten a little annoyed!!

'Wildwest' proves that Liam can beat Daft Punk at their own game, and 'Stand up' proves that Liam can beat Norman cook at the genre Norman pretty much created!

Liam - you are a god!!

it's more a daft punk ripoff imo, beat sounds alot like daft's 'rock n roll' and the part at 2'10" is like ' da funk'.
Copying someone's style isn't really beating it imo
