Obviously not as a dancer...
But as another Ableton Live jammer.
The evolution of their live shows over recent years has been fantastic, far better than the DAT days, but there is so much more Liam could be doing to their sound, just i realise Liam isn't an octopus!

Anyone who went to the UK dates recently and caught the South Central DJs will know what i'm talking about. One person rocking the rhythm section of Ableton and another taking control of the lead synth parts.
Imagine that added with the live guitar and percussion :)

Leeroy is a decent DJ and producer i'm sure he'd be up to the task and it'd take the live show to the next level... anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Would be nice. But can you imagine Leeroy rejoin The Prodigy? I can't.

Edit: You shouldnt compare South Central to The Prodigy. Liam alone is much better than them. :-D :-D

you've got a good few points there the live shows could be alot more live, but i couldn't really see it happening leeroy has his own stuff and he's pretty happy where he is right now.

prodigy always seem to surprise though, they've already took their stage and light setup to the next level with full on drummers and guitarist, i wonder what will happen for the next album, i know its offtopic but i'll miss the imd light show once its done.

and yeah it would be groovy for leeroy to come back and do the rigg with liam but i feel if it were to happen it wouldn't happen now because theres so much liam would have to show leeroy because of the new album, i'm not saying leeroy is shit but you would have to learn a few new things (for example: the order certain parts of tunes are played) etc etc and if liam can't even be bothered to make an instrumental of colours for a live show then i wouldn't see it happen.

so if it were to happen it would happen during the production of the new album in some years time

Leeroy is cool but i dont think he would want to go back unless he is involved with music more

There isn't a hope in hell of Leeroy getting behind the equipment with Liam.

Liam is far too much of a control freak to let anyone disrupt or alter his live sound. Liam has done it for 19 years so why would he change a winning formula?

I've seen Prodigy so many times now that most of the time I don't care what's going on stage.

Seeing Leeroy on stage again would have no affect on my live experience, I feel.

Did he offer any musical influence? I don't think the trio need it if he did. IMD is still fucking quality.

I'd like Leeroy back but this time on vocals, and then the next Prodigy album would be an even more full Prodigy vocal album! Take the Hyper tracks Twisted Emotion, Dirty Minds and Morning, Leeroy can do a good job on vocals and with Prodigy going more to the more melodic side with tracks like Omen I could really see it working!...

i'm comparing how south central operate ableton not their own recorded work:roll: check their live IMD booty that's floating around.
the prodigy live shows are stunning just think they could take things the next level even if it's not leeroy who is the extra man

As Stuie already mentioned, Liam is a control freak so I cant see that happening really. I would really like to see it but its a bit far fetched.

However, Leeroy's presence alone helped shape their sound which significantly changed after Leeroy left, therefore - after Fat of The Land.

i remember liam saying tracks like funky shit being influenced by imagening leeroy dance, so i would hope he would make a comeback, just to give a bit more pace to the tracks

maybe Leeroy actually wrote the first 3 albums and liam is keeping it quiet
