I am somewhat offended that you consider my sample to be "nothing" without it being in some pop song

I don't. They are the same. And the guys admitted it, kind of, if you read the full topic on that page.

But it also says "This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0 License" right below the sound info. Liam isnt so stupid that he wouldnt investigate such things, so he probably forgot where he found it or found a copy somewhere else. All sites with "free" sound, like newgrounds for example, all have some kind of license, but fuckups happen.

interesting story imo and I don´t think it´s coincidence.... but if everyone is free to use the samples, why Liam shouldn´t ? It´s not a dramatic thing but I would be proud if I got credits on a prodigy album-cover

That's the thing, I believe. He didn't get credit.
I'm not sure if it's free for noncommercial use, or totally free w/ credit, or what

yeah but they're not sure...

did Liam go on the site and literally rip it himself...
or did he get a sample CD that someone else illegally put together as their own sample collection for him to use without given the proper credit to them.
