Allmusic.com seems to have updated their website. I like it for their critical album reviews. However recently their "The Prodigy" site was updated with "influences" making the following list:
* Nine Inch Nails
* Pop Will Eat Itself
* Public Enemy
* Renegade Soundwave
* Beastie Boys
* Meat Beat Manifesto
* Ministry
* Front 242
* Kraftwerk
* Bomb the Bass
* Skinny Puppy
* The Sex Pistols
* Lee "Scratch" Perry
* Boogie Down Productions
* Ultramagnetic MC's
Though I'm not very surprised by "Kraftwerk" (which electronic group does not like them?), "Ultramagnetic MC's", "Sex Pistols" or "Meat Beat Manifesto", I'm pretty much astouned that "The Prodigy's" influneces cover Nine Inch Nails or Skinny Puppy. I know that Ministry and Front 242 are mentioned in the MFTJG-booklet and that MFTJG and FOTL have a post industrial resamblance. But I didn't know that Liam and CO do dig Skinny Puppy or NIN. That's great! If that's true, I share similar music-tastes!

Never heard of Allmusic.com but don't think any of that is not common knowledge, infact you could pretty much guess a lot of that.
They have missed the Chemical Brothers, Liam has even said tracks like Chemical Beats influenced FOTL.

so many missing - Nirvana, Skunk Anansie, RATM, Wu Tang, Orbital, QOTSA, Dead Kennedys, Ed Bangers, the drum&bass and dubstep scene etc

I like a bit more groove to my music, I like things a bit more drugged out. I came as someone who didn’t know anything about [Nine Inch Nails], and just didn’t think it was a good environment to see them. I guess I don't quite understand them.
but NIN isn't their infuence indeed. (however it might have changed since 2002, liam recenlty stated that he is into david bowie music despite not liking it in the past)

I remember that liam said that in 98 or 99 that the nevermind album by nirvana was the best rock album ever... and that he was listening alot to them when he was writing jilted, so yeah I would say they are influenced by them

Where's Massive Attack?
I remember Liam saying in an old interview that Mezzanine is his favorite chill-out album.
