This is so very true, totally underestimated album (more than 50% of tracks are great!).
But mine best to worst list is quite different than yours:

1. Wake Up Call
2. Medusa's Path
3. Spitfire
4. Girls
5. You'll Be Under My Wheels
6. Hot Ride
7. Get Up Get Off
8. Shoot Down

-------- These tracks below should have been produced some what differently or more ready = they feel as filler tracks:

Action Radar
Memphis Bells
The Way It Is
Phoenix

As an additional remark:
More girls should have been right after Girls OR as a ending track (like in Japanese edition)!

the mastering absolutely ruined this album on the whole, the dynamics are just so squished. I think looking back, its the album that saved the band in many ways, and a truly different sound from anything else we have ever heard from them.

I think we all remember the first time we heard girls, it was a proper holy shit moment for many of us! I do enjoy AONO, I listened to most of it last week on a long drive for work, and I think it could have been so much better had they road tested some of the material prior to it being released. The live versions of many of the tracks were much improved.

The live version of Wake up call has to be the most underrated live track they've ever done, its an absolute banger. The 05 version of Spitfire is much better than the plodding album version. The live version of Hotride is also an improvement on the album version, especially if it had Keefs vocals. Memphis Bells is great, always been a favorite of mine, especially some of those weird headphone mixes from that old website back in the day. I also remember seeing alot of people saying Action Radar is the missing link between FOTL and AONO and I really have never understood that at all.

I think if I had to rank the tracks it would be;

Girls
Wake Up Call
Memphis Bells
Action Radar
Hotride
You'll Be Under my Wheels
Phoenix
Get Up Get Off
The Way It Is
Medusas Path
Shoot Down
Spitfire (I know, I know)

If I had to choose my favs I'll choose the:

Action Radar/Memphis Bells/Girls
Hotride/The Way it Is/Spitfire
Shootdown/Wake Up Call


The track, that I'll repleace on the record is the Phoenix, the weakest one they put on any album, just change it for the
Back 2 Skool

I'd also like to get Alternative Get Up Get Off, and Gun Repsise in the form of Shootdown prelude
