Apprently there is a slayer sample used for the intro of Wake Up Call.. Anyone have any ideas which one ?
Also for any DJ Shadow fans out there, if you listen to the version of High Noon which is found on his 'In Tune & On Time dvd' ( also on youtube at the following address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt2_ChZUptE at 2:49
You can hear thats the same sound !

I've heard this sound on many tracks, it's very common. So it's not sampled.

Well, there is a source for this sample... isn't there? My guess is that it's Slayer (1988), because they actually do this all the time, guitar sounds.
