I always knew Rj was gonna get bigger. He's on XL now. He used to be on a independent label called Definitive Jux (which is the shit btw.) If you don't know about his music, I'd highly recommend you check his albums Deadringer and Since We Last Spoke.

His new album should be coming out at the beginning of next year sometime. It's not gonna have anymore sampling on it. He said a couple of samples that's it. Mostly live instrumentals. Probably gonna be totally different from any of his hip-hop type stuff.

well i think he's a lot better than shadow. shadows ok but better when he works with james

I personally love Rjd2. I don't compare him to DJ Shadow. To me they both have different styles. I love DJ Shadow too. Rjd2 is on some other shit to me. And I've been enjoying everything he's put out.
