I can't blame a band for trying to appeal to todays youth. They could have banjos in there and as long as it WORKS, thats fine with me.
Still, I don't really get how somebody who made Vegas could make this. Its overproduced and random. It sounds like they're trying too hard to make the tracks work. Some parts sound promising but then it just turns to shit. So you could say that the production is decent but the tracks aren't written very well. |

Just about pass-marks for:
Emulator Sling The Decks Storm To THe Castle 110 to the 111 Dosimeter (best tune on the album) the rest are very poor/unlistenable, i didnt even listen to the Leanne Rimes one out of principle - The Crystal Method have only ever had a handful of good tunes imo - good to see them back actually the album (the above tunes anyway) is better than any Skrillex pish ive heard the folks of BK are a very hard to please crowd

I enjoy it as background music while I'm casually playing shooter games. Perfect!  On headphones it's nice when I'm on the go but I would never sit down and actually deeply enjoy it. Too plastic for me.

not as good as their early work but definitely way much better than divided by night! I always liked their music, even if it's not the best music, it's still much better than 99% of the shit out there
