The Hobbit - 9/10
Took a while to adjust to the HFR stuff, but the action sequences and clarity were unbelievable. Some scenes in particular were the best I've seen in a cinema full stop.
The film itself was great as well, somehow had a different feel to LOTR. The art direction was perfect, somewhere between a kids fairytail and full on epic. Was worried about Freeman as Bilbo, but thought he was rather excellent by the end.
Overall great success, off to see it again tomorrow night with a different crowd in 2D, be interesting to see how it compares
