My last was Barry Lyndon (1975), the music ,the picture...it is the best Kubrick's movie i think,
but The Shining,EWS and all other his movies are in my best list and the "watch it frame by frame list"
I compared Full Metal Jacket to Spartacus the training scenes are vary similar and the scenario...
I can watch Stanley Kubrick's movies countless times...this is for me like Star Wars for someone.

I'm the guy who hates musical's and can't stand them. the only one that was decent for me was Moulin Rouge! (2001). but my girlfriend had invitations for this movie and we went. It started with a tipical musical bullshit dancing number in traffic. but right after that this was a really really good picture. brilliant soundtrack, great comedy (I was surprised how funny it is) and interesting story line. i'm listening to jazz all week becouse of it and it's a refreshing thing.

go check it out.

This was superb

Image

Performances are awesome. Ramirez was the standout for me. Very unusual story with a lot of twists and turns based on a true story that was just as crazy as the film.
