I was wondering, why do you think Liam didn't include this track on the album? It's by far the most amazing track that he made in a loooong time. For me, it's getting fast on the 1st place in the top 10 Prodigy tracks that I like. I never get bored with it, it has lots of energy, great melody...what the fuck could you want more?
P.S. DON'T FUCKING SAY "I HATE THE SNARE"!!!! THAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT THE TRACK!!!

Best guess is Liam probably thought its sound didn't fit with the rest of the tracks on the album

It doesn't fit the whole 'invaders' style of the album. Yeah it has thumping beats, blazing energy, and a melody.. But it's kinda cheesey. It samples a famous western movie soundtrack, and it doesn't really fit with the rest of the tracks with synthy, oldskool sounds. I suppose it could have replaced Piranha, but then that would have been 1 less Maxim track, making it less of a 'band album' the dudes wanted. I do love comanche though

yeah it didn't fit the album so it wasn't included, could say the same for wild west and black smoke too.
its a good track, really fucking good live as well, you need to remember lost beats is for the fans and with them playing all era's of there music they need something to blend it in, gundown does it really well and since this was a cd for the fans they included it, i doubt it was even intentionally written for imd but for live performance instead.
most members will have there own theories as to why it wasn't included but in general it will always be about not fitting in

Because it doesn't fit the album, and doesn't compare to most of the songs on it in terms of quality.
It's a good track energy-wise, perfect for live shows, but overall, it's not the greatest track he's done. Fairly repetitive and not as creative as he can be.
Same sorta thing with Dead Ken Beats.
I'm not bashing the track. I like it, but it doesn't stack up to most of the tracks on IMD.

Yeap. I would've trade Piranha, WD AND Stand up for Gundown, just to see it on the album and get the credit that it deserves.
Not many people are aware it if, and that's what's buggin me.

Yeah, I also Love "The Big Gundown" - it´s the best track on Lost Beats EP and I agree, it doesn´t fit on the album. BUT, imo "Warriors Dance" also doesn´t fit on the album. Replace it with "Razor" - that would fit

i always thought Warrior's Dance was a better title for The Big Gundown/Commanche cuz i think the latter sounds more tribal than the actual "Warrior's" Dance. just a silly thought i always had.

agreed, n also i dont think we needed stand up on the album, id prefer to be left wanting more with a torn asshole. commanche could have been a good finish.

Also, this Comanche / Gundown thing is confusing for people. Why the hell are they (still) referring to the track as Comanche on stage?
