nirvana is a cliché band of tipical american rock. they dont deserve the fame they had. their music was always far away from "talent", was more like "sounds". (sorry nirvana fans...)

He's confused by The Prodigy’s ‘Smack My Bitch Up’. “The song presents a weird ethical dilemma…I love the band so much I can't believe they'd mean it in anything but an ironic way.” (Kerrang!, 1997)

smbu cant be understood without experiencing it on live or at least watching a live video of it at home. when reading the band's explanation that it means doing something intensively it sounds cheapy and more like an apology, but when you hear it live i think you can just simply understood that it really means that. fucking hated those bitches on the special document who kept repeating it's nothing but "beat the women abuse the women". they are really abusable. i think they dont even believe themselves when saying it, simply said it cos "oh i got in a show, i'm on tv, i'm on tv wuhuuu".

Nirvana are fucking great! One of the best bands ever. Period!

I can't wait for this Foo remix! Their new album is amazing. I'm sure Liam is going to drop a real bomb!

Would love it if they remixed 'white limo'

Best track on that album by a country mile.

I think this list would be odd:

BEST BANDS EVER, NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

1) The Beatles
2) Queen
3) Pink Floyd
4) Led Zeppelin
5) Rolling Stones
6) U2
7) Metallica
8) ACDC
9) Queens of the Stone Age/Foo Fighters
10) Beegees, Genesis, The Prodigy, Depeche Mode, Santana, Dire Straits, The Who, Black Sabbath...

...and Nirvana? Pearl Jam doesn't approve.

I think Nirvana is child's play (in other words, don't deserve to be in the top 10), in the list of 'best bands ever'. I'm being honest.

What people don't take into consideration is what the band or album were when released. It might sound like fuck all now, but at the time a lot of these guys were banging out their albums they were pushing the boundaries of sound you know?

Who gives a fuck anyway? How this can turn into a discussion about the greatest bands of all time is beyond me. The Prodigy are remixing a Foo Fighters track, discuss that instead.

well I for one am excited for this remix...

It's cool Liam is doing all these remixes. It's keeping him productive and gives me hope that we might hear something new soon.

Deadmau5 did a remix of Rope for them, so it makes sense to carry on the trend with another electronic remix for their next single. It better happen, or else!...

Nothing as yet, the vinyl remix version of Rope did come quite a while after the original release though so if no news by mid-July, it's not happening.
