This actually feels good. It doesn't sound like another dnb track like exit version was, at the same time it doesn't loose the energy like post-Exit version..

yes, but it isnt an excuse for that LAZY setlist. sorry, its their show and not a festival. drop a hit or two and play some old shit, Funky Shit, Fuel My Fire or whatever... having 85% of the same all year round is just laziness. no excuse

Not true. He does play but, like everyone in the band, he covers or adds to part of the tracks. His additions can easily be heard during breathe, firestarter, smack, and even hyperspeed.

oh, i wasn't responding to you moonstrider101, my post was directed to Antz comment above yours where he said "You do know that he only pretends to play the guitar?" couldn't tell if he was being serious or not. my apologies, i probably should have quoted him to make it more clearer who i was responding to. my comment wasn't aimed at attacking you or anything. i dunno Antz comments were just for lolz, but sometimes i do read some amazing things on these boards criticizing the band.
going back to Rob on guitar, i especially love this new riff that he added to Poison. you can hear it on the Exit Festival online radio broadcast. besides the usual chugging, he plays this a cool little wah-guitar riff. he even adds some flange effects at points, to make it sound trippier.
though it was kinda brought down in the mix compared to the online stream, you can still hear it in this vid, especially at the 1:21 mark...

i like Rob, but i think Gizz Butt was the best live guitarist. he just meshed perfectly with the band's attitude and had a presence on stage. he really rocked Their Law live, loved the extra riffs he would add. and i like Leo, but Keiron Pepper was probably my favorite live drummer. that was probably their best live band for me, during the mid-90's. everyone just meshed perfectly and added something unique to the live show.

kieron was dope. the best live recording for me soundwise is smbu from the dvd, brixton '97. the drums sound so good on those beats. kieron played the whole thing whereas leo usually plays the higher stuff
