memphis wrote: for sure. only live drums are by the swiss drum corps. or am i wrong? possible. and rest of the drum sounds suppose to be all "self made" (according to many interviews). ok, maybe he recorded some extra acoustic drums for a single layer within one sound. perhaps? i have thought myself, how does he "craft" drum sounds in 2015.. is he layering samples on top of each other, or synthesis + samples, or recorder sounds + samples + synthesis.. many producers here, maybe someone else have thought about it...

i think the drums are not recorded and if at all, programmed or altered using drum samples OR the drums are recorded, but worked so much that they sound like your usual factory drum samples. BUT.. keep in mind that every recorded sound to some1 else is a sample (in the most obvious music engineering sense)  i prefer to think that he has manipulated most of the sounds (like he did with that The Day Is My Enemy guitar riff - original riff into same sounding more violent synthline), including drums which (mostly) lead to them sounding rather like your usual electronic snares and claps (which can sound rather flat).

i'd love it if they'd hire kieron again to play the whole drumset (especially snares) on all the tracks
what he did on that smack recording on the their law dvd sounds so fucking mint! love it to bits

Got the same bug. Most annoying in such cases is that as long as the ad goes on there's no hint whatsoever that you're not gonna get the actual clip. Yet, I think I've found it elsewhere. https://youtu.be/IOJZz5sMBYg
