I don't think we really got invaders part 2. Two Omen-wannabe tracks but the day is really it's own kinda album. Maybe the singles of that album should have reflected that. Rebel radio :D

I think Howlett also said IMD was going to be evil rave'ish.. i think he referred particularly to worlds on fire ...

lets talk about the incoming album

I think that "evil rave", "all acid" and "back to 1991" are compatible.
This would mean it's more Experience Part II. Then again, I seem to recall that Howlett mentioned going back to the roots with Invaders.
Compared to AONO/BGAT/Nuclear (post FOTL), it's true. Much less guitars, more breaks, sped up voice samples...

The thing is... we can't trust what Howlett says. Whatever comes out of his mouth needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt.

I hope No Tourists will be more catchy than TDIME and less over-produced.

I want big beat songs. Songs that give me the badass feeling of me against the world defiace.

You needed balls to wear the band's logo and pass close to death-black or whatever metal fan's hang out places. It was a statement. Many attacks (not from our side) and lot of open heads. We were outnumbered and outgunned.
I dont know what happened to other countries 20+ years ago but in mine every night 20-30 metal heads(who now are fat bald and take orders from their wives) ambushed poor guys who liked the band or another band of similar genre outside of clubs. They literally checked what we were wearing and made their move.
Some metal assholes ever throwed rocks at the band's live like 20+ years ago.Like half a kgr rocks lol to the band. It was serious shit.
Then firestarter came and even spice girls fans were walking down the street with keith's face. Guys who you dont trust them a lollipop to take it on the other side of the road.

I do not want melodic catchy bs like omen,colours,wild or invisible. I want a relentless attack that when played loud will make me reach my limit....will make me want to close the cdplayer or my heart will explode after 1 hour of loud music...i want the album to make me feel like i just came out of a badass horror movie that pushed my limits.

Dark relentless attack that will consist of Liam's genious ideas.....i dont want a banger just to be played live....i want a quality song that will be amazing live but also in my car ect.
Thats why i like but im not crazy with NEED. I would prefer if the video vibe was the song...forgetable video but badass vibes.
But to say that its a b-side song is pure bs,
I believe that depending each members early experiences in rl we choose what album/phase of the band we like. I still laugh with those who like omen ect and i will always remember those emma bunton guys but i cant do anything about it.No insult intended for anyone here.

I have my own AONO part 2 starting with Spitfire 05 and it sounds much much much better than the regular AONO.

AONOn was not that bad it is depicted. The only part the puts the album in a bad light are the tracks starting from 9 to 11 (Phoenix, You'll be Under My Wheels and The Way It Is), otherwise the rest of the album is a very good one with some peaks (Spitfire, Hotride, Action Radar, Wake Up Call).

It seems that AONO has gained newfound respect. It was fresh and a new sound for Prodigy (minus a few tracks in the later third). IMD and TDIME are both good albums, but not as original. I'm not expecting originality with No Tourists like I used to with Prodigy albums, but I expect it'll be good. How good only time will tell...

Yeah exactly. I've skipped those 3 so often that I can barely diffentiate them now. Well except for The Way It Is because it gets repeated so often, but you get my point.
Imagine if AONO had had Nuclear, Trigger and BGAT instead? And maybe Warning, although that one came out after didn't it...? I'm not sure anymore.
And I would have replaced Girls with More Girls (keep Girls as a b-side because it's still good).
