Nice news and I agree - better havin a Great 40 min album than a weak 80 min one.... but who said, it´really 40 mins long ? Like it was mentioned here - it´s just journalism, maybe they were not allowed to hear the full album.

Tracklist is really weird especially the "Omen" and "Omen Reprise" one. Maybe it samples the old dance-hit "Mysteroius Art - Das Omen"

...it´s similar in a particular way - can´t describe it. I believe, you can mix them both together [After you speed up the older tune]

My second suggestion for "Omen" is, it is "Beat 55" divided into 2 tracks and meant as a longer bridge between two tracks, like in MFTJG between "Speedway" and "The Heat"

Btw, somebody joking about hidden track. Well, that is possible. Box set contains 6 vinyls. If they going to record every track on one side of vinyl, then 12th side will remain empty. hmmmmmmmmm

Seriously though, I don't think calculations should work that way. We already know that WOF + WD = roughly 10 minutes. So that would mean 30 minutes for 9 tracks, which in turn means roughly 3:20 per track, and correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm not ), but they've never had an album track shorter than 3:30 (except for a certain intro), and in fact, those shorter than 4:00 are generally exceptions.
My point is - don't take 40 minutes too literally - the album won't be 40:00 minutes long. I think they meant something in the 40-50 region. I doubt that the person who wrote this knows the exact length.
Another theory of mine (although a rather hopeful one), is that we'll get "40 minutes of having our heads battered by future nostalgia, serotonin levels twisted by feel-good horrorcore and our synapses snapped by whiplash attitude" + 10 minutes of cool chill-out sound in the vein of 3 Kilos, Climbatize, etc.
