On behalf of Take Me To The Hospital, The Prodigy and Cooking Vinyl, we'd like to thank everyone for their help and understanding in not posting links to any pirate copies of the new album on Brainkiller (or any other forums or sites) when the album leaks ... .. there's not too long to go now until release and everyone on Brainkiller is on the same team – The Prodigy’s !!
Should anyone have any queries relating to 'piracy', pre-release guidelines and leaks etc on this album or should anyone wish to report any pirated files or links, please feel free to e-mail and / or telephone us at any time : our 'door' is always open to genuine Prodigy fans.
Conversely, if anyone really feels compelled to try and download a pirate copy or to attempt to capture promotional streams – which, naturally, the band and label would prefer you didn't - then please keep it for your personal use only and don't 'broadcast' / publish it on the net : for which, thank you.
To further clarify the suggested / requested guidelines for "Invaders Must Die" (album street date 23rd February), if you want good quality, non-pirated, preview tracks, "Invaders Must Die" (the title track) is available for hosting / posting / sharing etc ... .. and, as you’ll know, “Omen” - release date now 16th Feb - is also currently available to stream / hyperlink (ONLY PLEASE) off the band’s MySpace at www.myspace.com/theprodigy ... .. again as you’ll know, you can also view Prodigy videos at www.youtube.com/prodigychannel and, for more info on “Invaders Must Die” and the band’s 2009 shows, check-out www.theprodigy.com ... .. also, keep an eye on these official sources for details of further preview material and pre-release promotions.
Many thanks, once again, for your support and for respecting The Prodigy’s wishes.
'Thanks' for your posts ... .. although we're simply here delivering a message from the band - so thanks again (genuinely this time !!) for respecting their wishes.
Raggametalpunk is a bit of a local hero for recording that video of warriors dance, and we dont really understand why it had to be removed several months after it was posted.
Thanks for you questions (albeit tongue-in-cheek) ... .. answers as follows :-
1) IF i know the person who leaked their previous albums, will i get a reward?? = YES ; HOW ABOUT A DEPUTY DAWG BADGE ?!
2) What happens IF anyone "shares" the album online before streetdate? = THEY'LL BE WANTED 'DEAD OR ALIVE' !!
3) Will "I" get a reward if i turn in the person who shares the album = HOW ABOUT AN LAPD BADGE ?!
Joking aside, we're talking about somoeone's creation here (the band's) and, surely, they should have some say in when and how it is launched / released ?!
