Cool I'm glad i heard that:
This is definitely more of an album getting us back towards [where we were at the beginning]. Big Thumbs Up

...and the music theme plays:

Risin up -- back on the street,
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance now Im back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive --
So many times, it happens too fast,
You trade your passion for glory,
Dont lose your grip on the dreams of the past,
You must fight just to keep them alive c

*its the eye of the tiger,
Its the thrill of the fight,
Rising up to the challenge of our rival,
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night,
And hes watching us all
With the eye of the tiger.*

Just seems the album direction keeps changing to whatever music is the flavour of the week.
Are you ready for some space shit ?, I can't wait for the bassline(whoops) punchline Rolling Eyes

i dont see the probrem with bassline, Dubstep, or liking justice,

I like lots of different genres of musci have very diverse taste and the best music happends when genres are mixed , twisted, and chewed

Liam coming from the UK its hard to avoid dubstep of course some of it is shit but i love some of it, Prodigy going straight forward dnb just wouldnt do it for me .

I love the fact that the whole dubstep scene comes from the uk but not London, It actually started in the midlands and then moved all around.

...............................................................................................................

Its nice to get a mention on the main page BK Razz

According to the Admin of that site the whole thing is up next week

ok im gonna clear this up, its an influence, prodigy will never be dubstep, grime any type of genre apart from their own and thats pretty much it.

haters of dubstep:

liams beats are gonna be totally different, that tune thats on the demo aint even for the new album, it was somthing he cooked up and thought it was pretty cool, nothing big

Lovers of dubstep

bad news for you guys but please rely on other artists to forfill your needs in this genre, the prodigy will never be anything but prodigy, he could do some crazy fully influenced tune from dubstep music and yet it wouldn't sound it.

Lovers Of Pure Prodigy

Good news, its gonna be somthing you never expected, somthing crazy, fast and hard, but its still gonna have that prodigy stamp of reckonision Wink

Please not 2009, this is killing me. I told myself after AONO never to get excited about a new Prodigy album again. Not because of the quality, I liked the album, but because the extra waiting is like a junkie waiting for their next fix, it ain't good. Please 2008. Maybe other people can get by with other music, but to me nothing else compares so it's just sucky hoping and waiting...

I'm going to be extremely pissed off if it comes out in 2009.

I mean first it was late 2006, then summer 2007, then march 2008...what's next?

Im sure theres a misunderstanding in that article...plus according to the summersonic website the band promised to release the album before the festival (August) and Liam said we'll be gettin the album title this month...so im not sure whats going on? could be a fuck up from the editors.

I really still can't understand, how the name of the album and these of the tracks are ready, but liam still hopes for an 2008 release.. wtf means that... he needs 9 months to make the covers of the labum or what???...

I still get this nagging thought that Liam is just mucking about with all these cryptic comments and before we know it BAM!! the album will come out of nowhere and he'll be laughing his head off at all this frustration he's caused.

MAY THE 5TH B WITH U

Should be the 4th but that wasn't the rumour

Cover is already done, he said so when the website launched.

I don't get this hopes thing either. So he's got the album name and cover, he's got the track names, he has a new label and even a logo for it. The album was in mid-to last stages in September 2007, in March 2008 it was a little bit to go. A little bit and yet he hopes 2008?...

The worry is...

"hopes 2008" *insert into the Liam translater* = 2009

Alarm bells are ringing, but the rest of the news gives me hope for 2008...

polishing the tracks need time, I think it's like bug testing a videogame. Gotta make it perfect.

we havnt read the full interview, the "hopes" part isn't a quote so I wouldn't worry yet.

Neither is the 'dubstep influences' part either Smile
