Hi Agent Orange,
'Sorry' for the abbreviation ... .. orange is a cool colour and, as for 'Clockwork', well it's an all-time classic ... .. can't give-away too many trade secrets, but public library scenario would certainly be a bit of a conundrum !!
Best,
WEB SHERI |

Well okay, now the quality of this topic has somewhat degraded... Theres no doubt about the fairness/legality of Omen and WOF.
I dont like websheriff much, but im delighted that theres atleast a little sense down there somewhere. |

Again, thanks for your reply. Yes indeed, Orange is a cool colour. I think it has been in the shadow of red and yellow for too long anyway.
I was not really aiming at what you do exactly to get to the leaker but I was more interested in what the consequences are for such a crime. I know the person who has the promo (second hand owner), but he/she isn't the rightful owner. Now I know there's ways to get to that person AFTER it leaks, but lets say the owner of the Promo is very smart and capable, and doesn't leak it, just on an instant messenger to some select friends only. Will you still try to find him? Can you even find him or her? Again, just curious. |

Hey sOren,
Thanks (genuinely) for your post ... .. fyi, there may well be further, official preview material around-the-corner and, fyi, we're always in favour of fans and bloggers being given as much material pre-relesase as possible / as feasible (ie. so they can enjoy new album material but without ruining the marketing plans or completely taking-away the 'thunder' of a proper release).
Cheers,
WEB SHERIFF |

But send a message back to the band: "Sack me!"
I am far from impressed with your exploitation of youtube copyright infringement procedures (remove first - ask later) where you remove videos that clearly has been stated by the band not to be a problem, like the video mentioned before... hence my sharp tongue. I respect the bands right and interest in preventing their commercial material from being leaked, but its obvious it has gone beyond that...
It's a bit odd it being removed actually.
Liam mentioned this footage (not by name, but it was obvious) in a magazine published this month in the UK (either Front or Loaded, can't remember which) saying it had 400,000 hits and that "you can't buy marketing like that".
So they like the free marketing, but they don't like the free marketing being published on YouTube?
I must be missing the point
I don't get though how that removed footage was different to the ones I posted (i.e. Omen: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eMkCt6MWJlk) (apart from yes, the quality being a bit shit....)
Don't take this as an attack Web Sheriff - I'm not complaining because you did let me keep my IMD tour concert footage on YouTube! |
