But seriously, about that person owning the second-hand promo... Is he or she acting out illegal actions by sharing the material with friends on a chatprogram? I guess so, looking at your previous answers. So, does that mean we can turn him or her in, and get that person put to justice so-to-speak? What happens next, once you find out who it is? Does it even matter? Or will you only find that person once he or she actually leaks the album openly? Because I happen to know that he or she actually spread the material to a select number of people. It's better to prevent rather than to heal, right?

Fyi / to answer your questions, any dealing with second-hand promos (before release) is bad news / illegal ... .. after release, it is acknowledged that there's a genuine, fans' / collectors' market and we tend to leave this alone ... .. as for 'private' leaks they are, at least, better than public ones but, if you want to put us in direct contact with the person responsible (in private), we'll happily liaise with them (in private) in order to ask them to follow the guidelines.

Thanks for the heads-up ... .. again, we shall happily look into each one of these and, where feasible, reinstate ... .. fyi, old / already released videos are fine, as are live / concert videos of new material and it's only videos of unreleased (studio) material that are only allowed to be on the official YouTube channel ... .. with regard to all of the other videos (as mentioned above), you'll notice that most now have courtesy credits and links to The Prodigy's channel and, if these simple credits are added, then there's no reason why any vids would get removed ... .. fyfi, most uploaders are also contacted directly through YT and asked to add the simple credit.
Hope the above helps / clarifies (a bit at any rate).

Looks to me from visiting websheriffs website, that they overstep their boundaries and infringe on free speech. You can't police the internet, there's always someone smarter than you who can overcome whatever tactics you employ. If you look on the inside cover of Prodigy's "Music for the Jilted Generation", there's a painting of a young man "giving the finger" to authority. In this case, you websheriff are the "authority"

Web sheriff phoned me up and woke me up demanding i shut my site down, then he shut it down himself all because i had a radio rip of omen on the site, i dont think the sheriff is doing his job right considering he shuts down peoples youtube accounts for basically having gigs from 93 that noone else has, now i've been delayed for 2 weeks because i have to re build the site all because of fucking web sheriff arsing around shutting peoples web sites down, fuck sake if you read these forums you'll find more than a radio rip !
