Why not? Eric Clapton is overrated yet hes famous and one of best. I think Radiohead is overrated, nice songs but not greatest band in the world, and I can't explain high sales etc... but I can't deny their popularity.

To me, they ARE the greatest band in history. Does this make me a commercial whore? I mean, I discovered them on my own by a few tracks I downloaded in like 1998. I came across when I was looking on my old cdroms. After listening to them I started to search and they turned out to be a fucking big band with huge sales. I was kind of surprised. So? They're not always overrated. My judgment on their music is purely based on how it caught me and how good they actually are. Couldn't care less if they're a small or big band. All I know is that I love their music and obviously a loooot of people don't disagree with me there. Still, their music still sounds intimate and like it's made just for you. Sounds gay, but that's just how their music is: personal. And that's a fucking good thing for a big band to manage (you know, being unique and weird and all).

Their music captures your mind in takes you to another world, very personal like you said Agent Orange thats the main reason which makes them so unique.

People might think that theyre music is depressing, call me crazy but their music can make me the happiest person in the world sometimes.
