Is Web Sheriff removing all the promos from Ebay or people are making offers to sellers?

Because this promo and another one of IMD have been cancelled in less than 24h.

I'm guessing the web sheriff has contacted them as promos are usually marked 'for promotional use only. Do not resale'. This won't really matter after the album and single are commercially available.

these have been removed due to the fact they are commercially available from feb. protecting against piracy. I think its a good step, but like i said about IMD promo, these will not be scarce, just wait and see.

isn't there anyway to find out who is websheriff on the forum?track a ip or something?cause it's obvious he's reading the forum,seeing the links and then reports them.i think we are actually helping him to find the leaks

Unless he's gonna have the username 'WebSheriff' then how would anyone know who it is ?, this is all available for anyone to see, but I agree with you that they're watching this place.

Dunno if the ebay-websheriff watching outside forums ... too much work. Prodigy isn´t the only band which has promos.

I guess the record companies write to ebay to forbid selling items that contains keywords like

Prodigy + Omen + Invaders Must Die + Promo

until a special date - after that, it doesn´t matter !

I think WebSherif just search for "Prodigy promo" on Ebay, like the rest of users...don't think they are in this forum

and the erased links from rapidshare,my links and junes's?come on.they are watching the forum..it wouldbe nice to find the ip of websherriff from some blog where he asked the links to be erased,then compare that ip to the ones in here

It´s easier for the record companys to inform the common pages, where all those media-things could be leaked / shared, whatever.

I don´t think there is only ONE guy [named websheriff] watching the whole night and day thousands of pages just to inform a company to ban a link or soemthing like that.

They wrote to the common companies, please don´t accept uploads like X and Y - that´s it.
