So much for 2 extra tunes, they just lumped on a couple from the lost beats EP. Maybe they'll get 2 extra tunes on the Lost beats? Fuck knows.

hmm this is weird, i sent an email out to recordstore (prodigy's shop) i asked bout when tickets will come and heres the reply:
Quote: Dear Customer,
Thank you for your email.
Tickets will be sent out early february , we have not sent out any tickets yet and the people who have recieved theres would have purchased this from another retiailer. The album will not be released util March the 2nd.
Kind Regards
Irene Aliker Customer Service
the reason i highlighted the album thing was because i said this in my email: Quote: now before then the date for the album was march, now that has changed im wondering if you guys are sending my tickets with the album since its been knocked back to feb?
so i dont know will they send it out just before the 2nd so it arrives or what ? lol
i sent this email out a couple days ago, so its not before the announcement

Another review, by Citylife
Quote: Citylife rating : 3/5 FAT Of The Land was a blessing and a curse. Once you have released one of the most critically acclaimed electro albums of all time how do you top it?
After a seven-year hiatus, the following album Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned was a nervous attempt by Producer Liam Howlett to prove The Prodigy could still be relevant in the increasingly advancing electronic world.
Howlett nervously tried to reinvent what had previously been a punk/electro signature sound and largely failed.
Ironically, opening single Spitfire, which largely held to the Fat Of The Land formula, was the only real success to come from this mismatched attempt at redefinition.
Invaders Must Die is certainly not an effort at redefinition.
Put bluntly the album simply tries to recreate past glories.
Imagine 1992’s debut, Experience with Keith Flint’s FOTL vocals snarling throughout.
Thunder is a healthy nostalgic glance back to nineties rave roots, a relentless jungle beat mixed with aggressive synth’s and a reggae vocal sample that prompts allusions to previous hit single Out Of Space.
Omen is a perfect reminder of what the three-piece can achieve when working as a unit. Run With The Wolves is a blast of punk adrenaline which will fit perfectly in a live set along classics including Firestarter.
By adhering to winning ways the new album is a vast improvement on the last.
There are a few mistakes along the way. Take Me To The Hospital sounds like a car crash between reinvention and rave and Warrior’s Dance, with it’s cheesy vocals has more in common with happy hardcore than a pioneering act.
The new offering does not disappoint, but it unashamedly covers old ground.
A once pioneering, controversial trio are simply trying to rediscover their roots and understand what made them great.
Unfortunately attempting to live in the past cannot sustain a viable future.

Now I'm all for critism.. but.. fucking hell..
what do these people think Liam should come up with? What exactly do they think they are going to hear when they listen to IMD? Something from the future or something?
I would like to know just what these reviewers actually expect Liam to do? Create a whole new stlye of music or something? Time travel into the future to find out what music sounds like an then bring it back with him?
EDIT : Yeah, TMTTH will most probably be one of the best tracks on that album... and this turd thinks it sounds like a car wreck.. wtf?
this quote annoys me
"Howlett nervously tried to reinvent what had previously been a punk/electro signature sound and largely failed.
Ironically, opening single Spitfire, which largely held to the Fat Of The Land formula, was the only real success to come from this mismatched attempt at redefinition."
This dick aint got a clue of what AONO was about. I know alot of people don't like AONO, so yeh.. whatever.. but how can someone overlook the other standout tracks on there.. Girls for example.

Hahaha, I was thinking the exact same thing! They're the two tracks I can't wait to hear! Also, Thunder sounds like it's going to be amazing, need to blast that tune down my ears

How come.. nobody gives a fuck when say... for example. a band like "AC/DC" stick with the same sounds forever, but when The Prodigy use a sound that can be perceived as "ravey" that they sound like they are trying to recapture some lost old glory or someshit?
