its a great album i'll be honest, its kick ass but i've not really had any goosebumps from it and i've been playing it loud as fuck, when i first gave jilted a listen i got goosebumps, either its because i've still got this shitty flu i've had all week or its because its not as good as i planned it to be.


but i love it

so at the moment its like second place for me, jilted at first

but omen reprise and run made the old feeling come back for some time

It's too early for me to say how it compares to the others, but I will say it definately beats AONO, and I loved most of AONO. Some of the songs on this album rank right up there with the best ever. It is album of the decade for me ...

there are still songs on this album that rank up there with the best Prodigy tracks. this album has some great moments.

yes. its great. but not epic. however it has some epic moments - stand up, omen reprise, some parts of tmtth.


anyway - MUUUCH better than i expected!!

The breakdown on TMTTH is epic, the biggest let down for me on the album is the opener and the finish. I think IMD just doesnt open the album with a bang, WOF would of been a cracker with a new intro! Stand Up is an alright track but its far too Fatboy Slim for me, id be gutted if they played that live at the end of their shows!

Stand Up leaves me reminiscent of 3 Kilos.

On mininova its displayed as 'iTunes rip'.....

the drums on my version of run with the wolves sound like a bad mp3 rip but everything that sits on top sounds normal/good...

that track annoys me, whats with the eq filter over the guitar constantly.

mmm yeah, I have to say that Run with the wolves is a weak track...

At the moment, IMD is my favourite album haha, but its not even been 24 hours yet, so it may go down the list, but currently, this is the album of theirs that I can listen to without having to skip a track.

Its great! Not perfect, theres some things I don't like about it that could have been changed, but it's probably just personal taste:

IMD - It feels unnecesarily long to me, but that could be due to having the the edit version of a few months.

Omen - Feels so weak in comparison to the single version. I'll be replacing it on my iphone with Omen Extended from the single, about 15 secs longer and has those awesome drums.

Thunder - I love it, but the breakdown thing at the end seems pointless, i'd rather the track just end before that kicks in, even if it means bringing down the track length to under 3 mins.

Colours - I thought i'd hate it, but i love it, i'm already singing along to it and i can't fault it, even if it is a little too commercial for them.

TMTTH - I don't need to say anything about it, ace track.

Warrior's Dance - The bass!! Wow! Another track I wouldn't change at all.

Run With The Wolves - I've always said I wasn't keen on this track and i'm still not, but it is growing on me. I don't hate it, but it's just not as good as the rest imo.

Omen Reprise - Perfect. It's my favourite piece of music on the album, it's so scary, it gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it.

World's On Fire - Always loved this track, I don't like the new chorus though, the plinky plonky bit should just stay as an uninterupted run rather than repeating the first part 3 times. Other than that, ace.

Pirahna - Powerful! I love it, even if at first that out of tune horn made me laugh

Stand Up - Great ending track, I was smiling through the whole thing, especially at the end when it has that guy whistling.
