Simple: Is Invaders Must Die the last Prodigy album we are going to ever have?

What a horrible thought...

Why did you start this topic after comment like this?

Holy fucking shit.

I knew this album was going to be good. I've seen them live three times last year, so I was quite confident it would be a success. But...

I can't believe just HOW fucking brilliant it is. I've never had an album bring a tear of joy to my eye, but dancing around my room yesterday morning with it on full blast was a day I won't ever forget :-D

Shall do a track-by-track review later tonight.

Just enjoy man and relax , only happy thoughts pliz

Just read the Crash interview in a magazine shop and Keith summed it up perfect.. Liam will always make music nomatter what because thats what keeps him going, The Prodigy will only stop when they stop playing live as thats what makes the Prodigy.

So taking something from that i cant see IMD being their last, i think its a new Era for the band

On one hand it could be and on the other it might not.

I think there will be more. They've taken years to build up to this, years to all be close mates again, to be a gang again, to be a band again. They've got over the rough patch, now all that's in their way is age. But I think they've still got a good few years left in them yet!...

ok guys, i have some exclusive news here, leeroy will be coming back in time for 2012 and prodigy will be showcasing their 6th studio album, in which all members will perform vocal duties, timbaland is rumoured to be producing along side akon and 50 cent and your mum. IMD was just a decoy from the real plan guys, tryin 2 conquer the prepubescant teen girl market. just listen to colours and you know it 2 b true... 8-)

think of all the other new tracks they have been playing like comanche (which liam mentioned in the recent blog) its not even on the Lost Beats EP, plus liam said he wants to go back to releasing EPs in the Kiss 100 interview, they are on a roll with the new tracks.

They are not that old anyway, there are many other electronic based bands that are still going like who are the same age or older - Depeche Mode (They are in their late 40s!!), Nine Inch Nails, Orbital (they have reformed), Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Future Sound of London plus many other electronic bands.

They feel they have lots to prove and think there a few more albums/EPs left in them, judging by the interviews they dont look as if they are gonna split anytime soon.

Now if they do they fans will be VERY angry there will probably be petitions and everything lol

Where do people even get these ideas from...? :?
There's not even a single indication whatsoever that this is gonna be the last album!!
Even if Maxim and Keith are quitting the band, I can see the prodigy name be carried on, with Liam still producing albums, with a ton of collaborators. Kinda like AONO was. but that would mean no more live band though!

liam's a perfectionist and therefore i see why IMD is so short , i wish it was longer but i suppose its meant to be and that is why lost beats is coming out separately otherwise it would be a full 74-80 min album but i guess he thinks those tracks dont fit with it , if i'm right IMD is liam doing what he wants and not the market but i could be wrong, whatever the answer there will definately be more to come .....lovin the oldskool vibes hope he sticks with it

Got this from a forum - about the album: "Old cheesy rink-a-dink samples re-employed to try and recreate the long gone energy of yesteryear.". :? Kinda makes you think...
