fuck that, this album is fucking fresh!

still has the traditional Prodigy bite and venom to it,
they just brought the old school sounds...

and it's very up,
not as dark and eerie as MFtJG and FotL,
but still has balls and energy to it.

what's good is Liam is keeping it interesting...
with chops and switch ups and tweaks and sounds coming in and out.
AONO was a very sorta copy and paste feel.

and the bass IMD! oh my!

P-P-PIRANHA!

i want my physical CD even more now, just to hear in 100% top quality.

i can honestly say i do not hate any song on this CD. there's all moods covered and each track is a banger. plain and simple.

i think i listened to this burnt PROMO in the last couples of days more times than i have ever listened to AONO. and i like AONO, it's not a bad album, just might least favorite. had some fillers. but loved the alternate mixes Liam came out with later though.

it just didn't give me that good ol' feeling.

another thing that makes me an outside, "Get Up, Get Off" is my fave off it. lots of folks here hate it.

but i like this new one a lot, even title track IMD isn't so bad in the context of the album and i like the full version more.
:slayer:

Got this from a forum - about the album: "Old cheesy rink-a-dink samples re-employed to try and recreate the long gone energy of yesteryear.". :? Kinda makes you think...

What I want to know is.. How can anyone listen to this album and not want to get up out of their chair and just move.

Fuckin hell.. Some people just are not open to new things, even though these tracks use sounds from the old rave days its not a retro album... It's fucking fresh! Some people just hone in on one element and judge the whole album from just that one thing. Looking at this album as a whole, it kicks fuckin ass... How can anyone deny that? Really!?

And I really don't see this as being the last album. Nobody knows for sure.. The album hasn't even hit the stores and talk has already moved to wondering if this is the last album? God.. How many more times will this question be brought up? Until Liam announces plans for a new album? and who knows how many years til that day comes.. then what? talking about delays? when are we hearin new tunes? People saying Liam has lost his step? Why do I feel like we've ll been through that before?

thing is.....in all honesty i think if its their last they done it with a bang, they could have ended it with aono, but that wouldn't be the best way to end it, if the worst comes to worst, they would have said, lets get everyone back in here for one more, and by the sounds of the album they did.

i think it would be best to wait how this album goes down, and how tours are doing, if were seeing less and less every year then it will just stop one day.

thing is does liam really want to end something so big ? some people say these things about tv shows, lost for instance, hasn't it been around to much that they should have just killed it before, and now its just the same old story over and over again, i know many of you watch lost and i dont, i was just using it as an example.

imd is certainly a good way to say goodbye, but the name of the album would make some people think there back to get rid of the invaders, if the album does shit then i can't see anything else happening i'm afraid, many people want it to be great, but the promotion sucked this time round i feel, it was too web based, radio promotion only begun in full this month, along with tv stuff, fat of the land had massive promotion and look how it did.

another point is gigs, they owned everything, all the main stages, now we've got pop cunts in there now and prodigy at the back, prodigy say this is good but i feel it isn't really good, prodigy arn't a non headlining act without something being fucked up, thats what worries me alot, there going back to small, like there doing things they couldn't do before so they can just shut it all down till the gigs there doing only have a couple hundred.

i think, u went somehow way too pesimistic, Cogglesz

u speak now a little bit like u've been their manager, or some director.
with eyes focused only on the numbers, popularity charts, bank accounts and things like that, all the time....which is, in my opinion, really not most important thing about the prodigy....
and u must notice, most ppl now are rather using the internet than TV. for example i used to watch MTV during whole 90s period. but now, since few years i dont even have any music channel.
and many ppl dont even have TV becos of having everything in the internet.
so, any promotion in tv, would be invisible and meaningless for me. and for many many fans as well....and im enjoing their web promotion, even if i had my strong doubts about how it is constructed.

and i also cant agree about the gigs. ive seen them twice lately and both times they were headlining....but even if they are not headliners sometimes.... come on, are u really afraid if 'pop c*nts' could steal any prodigy people?
but anyway, i understand u, if u r just missing the fat of the land era, as well as me :) i think internet had finally killed an unique atmosphere of these times.

lock and delete this topic. you know Liam reads the boards, how are you gonna post some shit like this. The boys are more than back they are better than ever enjoy the ride don't post this "is this the end" shit. Do you really think they started their own record label for one album?

There will never be a last album. They will be here long after we're all gone. Prodigy is forever.

Go read the latest interviews for an answer and stop all this nonsense.

It's like people post this stuff just so they can say they've started a thread.

not really thinking of 'and end' or something......
but if it's the last I think Prodigy will be more working behind the scenes with thier label, other artists and perhaps some solo albums.
Few more albums is possible.... but since it takes like 5 till 7 years to write an album and average age off a bandmember then is like 45.... maybe one more??? Leeroy back could speed it up a bit =)

I don't know and don't really care as well... almost nothing is forever, Prodigymusic is tho... timeless and forever!
